TeamMeet the KentuckyOne Health Partners was created to address the fragmentation of our
health system, providing a platform for integration that allows physicians and all member providers to care for patients in a thoughtful, coordinated manner.
An extraordinary group of experts and thought-leaders in clinical integration dedicated to the health of Kentuckians leads the effort, working together as a team to bring the best practices, technology and value-based care models to our network providers. They are:
Stephanie Mayfield Gibson, MD Vice President of Population Health, KentuckyOne HealthChief Medical Officer, KentuckyOne Health Partners
A board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with a 10-year record of public health management, Dr. Gibson was most recently the commissioner of health for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, reporting to the governor. She will oversee the integration of our population health efforts across the system to improve the health of all Kentuckians.
Amy O’Connell, APRN-BC, MSN, RN Interim Vice President of Clinical Services
Amy brings significant experience to her current role, including her time as System Director for Employee Health, Wellness, Safety, and Workers Compensation for KentuckyOne Health.

Dorothy Lockhart, BSN, RN, CCTC Regional Director, Lexington Market
Most recently, Dorothy served as Director of Cardiothoracic Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support at the University of Kentucky.

Ann Spencer, RN, MBA Regional Director, Louisville Market
Before coming to KentuckyOne Health Partners, Ann served as chief nursing officer for Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.

Tom Walton, MS, MDiv Director, Business Development
Tom’s broad health care experience includes his most recent role as System Director of Healthy Communities and Academic Relations for KentuckyOne Health.
Don Lovasz, MBA President and Chief Executive Officer
Don brings 30 years of clinical and health care executive experience to the organization, including service as vice president of a regional integrated delivery system and chief information officer and system vice president of a Baldrige-winning Catholic health system.
Brian Christopher, MBA Vice President of Administration
Prior to his current role, Brian was a co-chief information officer for SSM Health Care in St. Louis. During his employment, the organization was recognized with the Baldrige Quality Award and twice received the Missouri Quality Award.
