In addition to the standard issue race t-shirt, Teams now have the opportunity to use the four Logos shown here to create their own Team t-shirt.
What you need to know:– The Team Logos are available to all Teams and you may
choose to use one or all of them.– Funding for the team created T-shirt will not be provided,
this responsibility falls to each Team individually.– Please contact your Team Liaison or e-mail us at

Team Captain Responsibilities• Create your Team and set a fundraising goal. • For those Team Captains with paper registration forms, you must
attend Reconciliation.• Pick up Team t-shirts
– Missouri Teams – Temple Israel– Illinois Teams – St. Clair Square
• If you are unable to pick up your Team’s t-shirts and other items, you may send one of your Team members in your place.
• If you miss your pick up date, all Team items will ONLY be available at the Saint Louis Galleria for pick up on Saturday, June 4th between 8 am – 6 pm and Sunday, June 5th between 11 am – 5 pm NOTE: Illinois Team materials will not be available at the Saint Louis Galleria until June 5th.
• Any Race t-shirts not picked up by Sunday, June 5th at 5 p.m. will be forfeited and will become available for walk up registrants.
• Distribute the t-shirts and other items to your Team members and provide them with any important Race information.

Reconciliation• You must attend Reconciliation if you collect cash or checks
with signed registration forms from your Team members!
• If you have paper registration forms and checks and/or cash from your Team members, those items must be turned in before your Race t-shirts and other Team materials will be released to you.
• Please separate and group your forms and cash or checks by date entered online.
• We will also take any donations/pledges that you have received from Team members.
• Reconciliation Form and Instructions now available on the website.

Temple Israel – June 1st from 9 am to 7 pm
• T-Shirt Pick-Up for Illinois Teams:

• You will receive your Sleep In for the Cure items for your Team at T-shirt pick-up!
• We will not be packing bib numbers (except for survivors and timed runners) with your Team t-shirts – they will be available if you would like them.

Team Photos• Team Photos will be first come-first serve.• Race Day @ North side of Soldiers’ Memorial.
Photographers are available from 6:30 am to 8:30 am
• When your Team is ready, you will get a number from the booth and wait for the number to be called. Once it’s called, a volunteer will lead you and your Team to a photographer.
• Photos will be available for purchase after the Race. The link will be provided on the Teams webpage.

Friends for the Cure Pledge Program
Your registration fee gets you to the starting line, but it’s fundraising through the Friends for the Cure Pledge Program that will help find the cures!
The Friends for the Cure Pledge Program is an initiative of the Komen St Louis Race for the Cure® that
makes it possible for you to raise money to support Komen screening, treatment, education and support
programs in the St. Louis area.

Take the Lucky 13 Challenge!!!
If every Race participant raised $130 by just asking 10 friends for $13, St. Louis would raise more than $9 million to
help find the cures for breast cancer! It's that easy!
By email, by phone, or in person … ask 10 friends for a $13 Pledge and you will be well
on your way to meeting the Lucky 13 Challenge!!!
Each week, every Race participant who has raised $130 by midnight on Sunday will be entered into a drawing for
some great incentive awards. Magazine subscriptions, Cardinals tickets, and Visa Gift Cards are just some of the
awards being offered.

In the PinkThe In The Pink® Committee is dedicated to raising awareness of the Komen
St. Louis Race for the Cure by coloring our city pink. There are two ways you can help us accomplish our mission.
ADOPT A TREE PROGRAM
You can help to pinkify our city by adopting a tree in Kiener Plaza. The St. Louis In the Pink® Committee will decorate the tree with a large pink bow and 11"x17" tree tag indicating the tree was adopted “in celebration of” or “in memory of” any person(s) you choose. You can also add a sentiment to the tree tag. Adoption of a tree requires a minimum donation of $40. You can add additional bows and tree tags to the same tree for $20 per tree tag/bow.
All order forms must be received by June 1, 2011, so order now!

PIECING TOGETHER FOR A CURE
You can help us decorate the Survivor Pavilion at the Race site by purchasing puzzle pieces in celebration of or in memory of any person(s) you choose. Get creative and decorate your pieces with markers, glitter, stickers, ribbon, etc.
Pieces are $2.50 per piece or 3 pieces for $5.
All order forms must be received by May 21, 2011, so order now!
You may return your puzzle pieces 2 ways:• By mail to the address on the order form by June 1, 2011. • At any Team training, Registration Blitz or Reconciliation.
Your pieces will be added to our community puzzle, which will be on display at the 2011 Race.

In the Pink-Tulip Garden
WE’RE PLANTING A TULIP GARDEN THIS YEAR!
Decorate your own 2 ft by 2 ft foam board tulip to be planted in the Tulip Garden at the 2011 Race Site. Tulips are pink in color and are the perfect size for including photos and other personalized decorations.
Tulips are $20.00 each and are available for pickup at the Komen Affiliate Office or email [email protected] to make alternate arrangements.
You may return your decorated tulips:• By mail to the address on the order form by June 1, 2011. • By dropping off at any Team Training, Registration Blitz, Reconciliation or the Komen
