Davis Professor of Information Technology (IT) for an interactive conversation about changes associated with Apple’s iOS 11. Discussions will center around topics such as custom settings, file manager, Apple Pay, Siri updates and others. You’ll also learn about the enhanced impact iOS 11 has on the iPad.

About the Presenter: Dr. Felix A. Davis

Dr. Felix A. Davis was born and raised in the Chicago Land area. Having a passion for technology he has worked in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications Engineering for over 27 years. Having provided technological

support and leadership in various organizations and institutions such as U.S. Army, Advantis, IBM, AT&T, Tellabs, and Coriant. Dr. Davis currently serves as Professor and Chair of the College of DuPage’s (COD) Computer Information Technology (CIT) department. Dr. Davis also leads the independent IT consulting company “IT Consultants”. In addition to his professional career, he leads the technical advisory board of the COD Computer Information Technology (CIT) department while also serving as Chief Information Officer of the non-profit Community Information Technology Center (CITC). Dr. Davis holds a B.S. in Telecommunication Engineering, Masters in Project Management, and a Doctorate in Education. In his time away from business he loves serving in his local church, spending time with family, and playing golf.

Brittanie Campbell-Turner is a Construction Management Professional who works with Corporate Real Estate owners and operators to reduce uncertainty as they make decisions on their construction projects.

She is passionate about servicing the engineering Is and construction management industry and has being doing for 10+ years Project Management in project controls through schedule management.

She encourages the fostering trusting relationships within construction project teams, helps owners / operators understand how to lower risk, be under budget and on schedule in your construction projects. She is simultaneously just as concerned about the business results for the end user’s fulfillment in life as a result of interacting with the built environment.

Brittanie is currently a Project Management Consultant at Mace and is always researching ways to positively impact the construction industry by implementing best practices and innovative ideas. She is also the host of The Constructrr Podcast and shares her interviews from industry thought leaders at Constructrr.com.

As of February 2018, Brittanie serves on the USA Alliance of the Construction Blockchain Consortium Steering Committee. She organizes USA community events to encourage and enable the use of Blockchain and other Distributed Ledger Technologies in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.

Brittanie holds a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering and Professional Masters Degree in Construction Engineering and Management acquired from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Danielle and the VIATechnik team are spearheading advancement of BIM and VDC, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality,

and Artificial Intelligence in the AEC industry. Prior to founding VIATechnik, Danielle worked for General Contractors in the Bay Area,

Sydney, and Chicago. As a Civil Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional, she has extensive commercial building, heavy civil, and marine construction experience. Danielle serves on the Board of Advisors of Flux.io, a venture-backed AEC data company spun out of GoogleX.

Danielle was named one of the top “Women to Watch in Virtual Reality” and she received the 2017 Women in Construction Award by Constructech Magazine.

Kathy McCauley is President of McCauley Mechanical Construction, a 4th generation mechanical contracting firm from Bridgeview, Illinois. She currently serves on the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Project Management

Education Committee and has served on the MCAA Career Development Committee. She is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Institute. Her local credentials include being the first female Past President of the MCA of Chicago. She currently serves as Trustee to the Pipe Fitters LU 597 Pension, Health & Welfare, Joint Apprentice Training Fund and 401(k) Funds, and has received one of MCA’s highest honors, the Distinguished Service Award. She is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and has the designation of LEED AP from USGBC.

Jill McCallJill McCall is the Executive Vice President for the Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago, a trade association that represents over 400 union contractors. A lawyer and MBA, Jill has been involved in management, strategic planning and education for multiple associations as a staff and volunteer leader. Before working at the

MCA of Chicago, Jill worked for the American Bar Association (ABA) for 15 years, beginning her tenure as a career counselor. She went on to serve as the organization’s staff lead for various entities: continuing education/program accreditation, law practice/technology, and emerging professionals. Jill completed her professional education in six years (BS, JD, MBA) and committed to a career path of association management in 2010 by earning her Certified Association Executive designation. Through the years, she has co-authored, contributed to, and edited books and articles, and made presentations to association and business leaders.
