The standard equipment on the Sirius 32 Deck Saloon Yacht includes:

Solid, fast and...comfortableSolide, schnell und...komfortabelAsk any cruising yachtsman today to describe the boat of their dreams and most willdemand cruising comfort, combined with first-class sailing characteristics and sea-worthiness.They will also want generous headroom and cabin space, a warm and comfortableshelter in rough weather conditions, as well as good light and visibility in the maincabin areas. The idea of creating a thoroughbred sailing yacht with fine and elegant lines, careful-ly tailored to meet an owner's needs, has driven the team at the Sirius yard since itwas founded more than 35 years ago. And the success of its fourth generation ofdeck-saloon yachts reflects the team's incredible attention to detailed customer-focu-sed developments.Sailing the Sirius 32 DS will really convince you of its true pedigree: On the wateryou will see what we mean; whether you're making good progress in a light breezeor feeling absolutely safe in heavy weather - the Sirius 32 DS is not a compromise, but an intelligent combination of craftsmanship and sailing experience. The test crews from , Germany's leading sailing magazine, were impressed:"The Sirius 32 DS is very stiff…, sails amazingly quickly…" (In Force 4 to 5: 40° totrue wind - 6.7 knots; 60° - 7.0 knots; 90° - 7.4 knots; 130° - 6.8 knots; 180° - 6.4knots; Yacht test 14/96). The excellent working area, like the rest of the yacht, showsthoughtful design, layout and manufacture. Each detail is planned and built carefully.Nothing is left to chance. ( Test 14/96 and 24/2003)

Philosophy PhilosophieThe philosophy behind our deck-saloon yachts lie in the inter-connection of the mostimportant living areas on board. Why is this important for you? On a Sirius decksaloon yacht, because the cockpit, interior helm, galley and saloon all share the sameeye-level visibility while sailing, one can: remain in contact with the helmsman andcrew, relax in the comfort of the protected deck-saloon without worry and watch thechildren enjoying themselves safely,… enjoy life on board! This generates a totallynew set of conditions on board, not just a life revolving around the cockpit.

Saloon Salon The saloon forms the heart of the Sirius 32 DS. With more than two metres of head-room, the saloon has an elevated position with a comfortable round settee where onecan enjoy a panoramic view on all sides. Due to our careful design, you can experi-ence life on board while enjoying its many amenities. Whether cooking for your crew, acting as helmsman sheltered from the weather with everything under control, or sim-ply as a passenger, enjoying the sea view, in harbour or whilst at anchor. From thesaloon, you experience everything larger than life.Anyone who sails together with children, or wants to live on board for a longer time, will value the ambience.

Inside, the deck-saloon offers an excellent place to enjoy an all-round view from theraised table-seating for up to six people. Whether standing in front of the galley, orsitting at the interior helm, you find yourself exactly at the same eye-level as yourguests, even those in the cockpit. The large wooden table, inlaid with hand-crafted marquetry, has an integrated bottlestore. When required, the seating area around the table quickly converts into a dou-ble berth (1.40 x 2.08 m). Because of its closeness to the cockpit, the saloon tabledoubles as the chart table, with storage for charts underneath

Galley Pantry Comfortable and convenient features in the galley include:Refrigerator or cool box, half-gimballed two burner stove with oven, double sink, ample storage for pots and pans (1400 l) and - as throughout the saloon - 2,02mheadroom. The many easily accessible storage compartments and deep drawers willcome as a pleasant surprise to all on board.

Inner steering position Innensteuerstand The saloon steering position is well equipped with engine controls, instruments andnavigational aids, allowing outstanding visibility in all directions, and enabling youto helm comfortably, protected in all weather conditions. Sail settings can be monito-red at all times through the 1.00 x 0.85 metre plexiglass sliding hatch above. Thenavigation station is complemented by the large saloon table with chart compart-ment. Those wishing to use remote control from the comfort of the sofa in poorweather, enjoy a large chart table complete with chart and laptop shelf as an alter-native to the standard interior helm station.

4-berth version 4-Kojen VersionIn our ever popular 4-berth-version, the raised seating area provides a spaciousowners cabin beneath. Up to 6 crew members can be accommodated in 3 separatecabins, by lowering the saloon table.

Owners cabin Eignerkammer The owner's cabin is situated in the centre of the boat. Positioned to ensure theleast amount of movement, it boasts a luxury double berth of 2.03 in 1.55 m widthrunning the full length. Generosity and functionality combine to give more than 1.90 metres of headroom, alarge locker with shelving for clothes, coat rack, cupboards with sliding doors, aswell as a seating area. A permanent ventilator, windows and a hatch provide amplelight and fresh air. If required we also offer a sliding hatch to the galley or even ahull window.

Engine Motor The well insulated and illuminated engine compartment is easily reached simply bymoving a saloon seat forward. Maintenance of the engine, which is mounted last, can easily be performed whilst seated in front of the engine or from the two lockers.

4-berth versionPhilosophy

Forecabin Vorschiff The comfortable forecabin provides for a berth 2 metres in length and 2 metreswide. Storage is provided in a locker located at the entrance ,where there is 1.92mof headroom, plus even more storage space in the sliding-door cupboards. As youwould expect, all berths allow air circulation beneath the wooden base panels andare trimmed with either lighter maple or darker mahogany.

4-berth comfort version 4-Kojen Komfort Version In this version we have broken with convention and created a forecabin, similar insize and luxury to the owner's cabin in the foreship of the for 2-version. Experiencethe generous and bright room, with plenty of width, drawers, seating area and cup-board, and all this with up to 1.92m headroom. - Owners and guests are now spoiltfor choice, with two equally comfortable sleeping quarters.

Toilet room WC-Raum The washroom facilities in this design are exceptional with up to 1.96 metres ofheadroom and a large washbasin. The mirrored wall, fitted surfaces and a cupboardunder the washbasin combine practicality with comfort.

Shower DuscheCertainly noteworthy for a 32-foot yacht: as an alternative to the integrated showeris an optional shower-unit totally separate from the toilet. It is sensibly located onthe opposite side and, in addition to the oilskin locker in the companionway, the twobig lockers and the sliding-door cupboards, the shower can be used as wet weatherstorage space, as it is fitted with a removable coat rail.

‘for 2’ versionCountering the trend for packing ever more berths into small yachts, we have follo-wed the wishes of our discerning clients with our for 2 version. Boats of around 10metres are often used mainly by 2 people, with occasional guests on board. Thisboat is designed entirely with these needs in mind. The forecabin occupies all of the space forwards of the main bulkhead including thespace otherwise used for the shower, locker and toilet. This allows a luxury berthmeasuring 2.10 x 1.50 metres offset to one side. You will also find two spacious lok-kers, as well with a dressing table seat. Drawers that are 70 cms deep make gooduse of the space under the berth. The open space left in front of the double berth, with more than 1.90 m headroom, adds to the roomy feel and allows for two peopleto dress or get ready for bed at the same time.In the space aft, usually used for entrance and locker space to the owner's cabin wewere successful in installing the larger wash room from our Sirius 38, which has a 60 cm wide wash basin, convenient lockers as well as having a full 1.91 metres head-room.

Workshop Technik In the centre of the for 2 version, directly above the keel, is the technical room thatis accessible from above. Here, similar to on our 38 foot yacht, all tanks and techni-cal equipment are placed near the yacht's centre of balance. In the middle, a seat is situated in front of a small workbench where you can accessand maintain the technical equipment.....ample space remains to store tools, and foradditional options like air conditioning and generator, or for special options likeadditional guest berths or even - a 2-person nordic sauna!

Details Each Sirius 32 DS is planned and equipped especially to meet the specific wishes, ideas and the planned sailing-area of her owners. Because of this close, and often long-standing, co-operation and the sharing of expe-riences over the years, a great number of well thought-out design and equipmentvariants have become available. Also ideas for new details evolve, which can be offe-red as interesting options, or flow constantly as design-progression in our series.

CockpitThe roomy Sirius 32 DS cockpit, with its 2.00 m long, ergonomically shaped benches, makes a very comfortable place to lounge. An area with little motion whilst underway, it also offers you perfect safety and pro-tection in bad weather because of its deep position, a coaming height up to 50 cmsand a clear forward view through the large safety-glass windows..Many details and special features, such as first-class sailing characteristics and sea-worthiness, the single-handed sailing capability, the elegant low-maintenance mahogany deck saloon, the stylish living ambience with its excellent panoramic viewto all sides, the anchor lead through the stem to a capstan mounted in the anchorlocker, the simple operation of all halyards and reefs from the deep protected cockpit, the convenient measurements and the surprising amount of storage, theexcellent boat building craftsmanship, the loving workmanship in wood, as well asthe many individual design variants, make the Sirius 32 DS a really top class yacht. You will only find the highest manufacturing quality on the Sirius 32 DS. Not only arethe hull and deck joined as a single unit, after fitting the guard rail, with a 6 mmthick laminate, but also all bulkheads are laminated from all sides to the outer skin. The keel is strongly mounted, as praised in magazine. Overall the whole shipis a classic example of the high quality standards from the Sirius yard. Because each Sirius yacht is built from start to finish by our own high-skilled andmotivated employees, we are able to respond to your special wishes.

commented: "...The boat has succeeded visually with the deck saloon manufactured in wood blending in well to the yacht's overall lines. Excellent boatbuilding craftsmanship and the solid interior work, finished by a yard with years ofexperience, guarantee a yacht that will keep its value.""And therefore the 32 DS is perfect for individualists looking for a tailor-made ship, but not wanting a one-off yacht!"
