� Electrical terms and procedures – Electrical components – Electrical charge, current, potential, voltage – Electric and integrated circuits – Equipment and tools – Electricity systems – Measuring and testing – Wiring diagrams, electrical symbols and documentation

� Installation and maintenance – Cables and electrical lines from the power station to the building – Safety standards, safety signs, circuit breakers – Hazards, accidents and fi rst aid – Troubleshooting, identifying and clearing faults

� Relevant language structures – Passive voice – Descriptions (adjectives) – Reading/understanding English technical texts, e.g. manuals, technical
