About the Organization: Mentored-Research is an organization spearheaded by alumni of BITS Pilani University, India, working to increase access to educational resources to determined students. We visualize a world where skilled and experienced individuals, with diverse expertise, educate ambitious students. Over the course of the program, the spirit of inquisitiveness and research is carefully nurtured within the students. The education imparted both theoretical and practical, acts as a stepping stone to the financial industry. Mentored-Research currently has a presence in over 30 premier colleges from all over India, including the Pilani, Hyderabad, Goa Campuses of BITS Pilani University; IIT Delhi; IIT Kharagpur; NIT Trichy; NIT Warangal; BIT Mesra; VJTI Mumbai; Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University; Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University Mission of the Organization: To create a center of excellence in education in the fields of Finance and Economics. About the Program: The program Technical Analysis is a beginner course, designed to impart skills that will enable students to work towards doing technical-based trading in the financial markets. The students are empowered to forecast future price activity of stocks based on historic market data, price and volume information. Understanding the tools of technical analysis is crucial for a short-term investor, as a day trader and/or a momentum trader. Mentored-Research is happy to be collaborating with Mr. Balkrishna Sadekar, Founder, Profitable Candlesticks Charting, LLC. A member of the Technical Securities Analyst Association, the leading authority of Technical Analysis in United States, Balkrishna brings to the table his 15+ years of industry experience. In course of this program, he will guide the participants through the popular technical trading methods, and their applications through assignments. Mr. Sadekar is also the author of the book “How to make money trading with candlestick charts”. Pre-requisites required: No knowledge based pre-requisites. Further, a prior exposure to finance is not required. However, the applicant should have the willingness to learn and explore new domains. Target Audience: Students from all educational backgrounds are welcome to participate in the program. It is expected that the student is self-motivated, possesses the spirit of inquiry and the passion to sustain an interest. Operational Details:

• Opening registrations for the program. Limited intake, not more than 25 per batch. • Well-thought out and carefully designed resource material and video lectures, in sync with

Mentored-Research popular industry practices, are shared regularly with the mentee to guide him/her through the program deliverables

• The participant will have the support of an expert query support team. • The mentees will have the opportunity to interact with Mr. Sadekar periodically, in course of the

program, through live webinars • Exceptional performers may have the opportunity to take part in exciting internship opportunities

Dates: The program is expected to begin in the 1st week of July, and is scheduled to go on till the 2nd week of August Program Deliverables: 3 Assignments, covering Indicators, Oscillators, Moving Averages, Western technical patterns, Candlestick charting, Ichimoku system. The assignments will be based on real world charts, and the participant, if sincere, will develop a keen understanding of the art of charting. Cost:
