Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) Training (TSCM)
(Level IV, TSCM Advanced Practitioner)
Overview; those responsible for security, are often aware of the technical surveillance and information threat. To use
counter-surveillance equipment with the maximum success, it is also necessary to understand the thought process and
actions of those who use technical surveillance, other information gathering and espionage techniques.
This 5 Day course, with 2-3 Days self-learning and 5 days (40 hours contact time) workshop, with its emphasis on
practical participation, provides an excellent in-depth coverage of the subject for the technical and non-technical
operative. The use of your own TSCM equipment is particularly encouraged (if appropriate).
Course Aim; to provide increased awareness and information regarding technical surveillance techniques through
practical demonstrations hands on use and discussions. To develop the knowledge and skills to enable students to
perform effective TSCM operations applicable to their own specific operating environment and threat level.

Module 6. TSCM Primary & Secondary Equipment Use & Detection Profiles
At the completion of the course the attendee will be able to;
Be fully equipped to manage and implement a full TSCM operation.
Analyse electronic vulnerabilities in office and residential environments as well as vehicles.
Evaluate equipment performance and make informed purchasing and operational decisions.
Be able to select and appoint outside technical surveillance countermeasures team.
Advise on protection of information form technical and non-technical attacks.
Understand the danger of vulnerability in the ever growing technological society.
