The Tabla Technoform

The Technoform system is unique in that it is designed with dual tie systems. In panel to panel to panel use, they are connected to each other by the Panel Lock which passes through the hole in the siderail and swings down to lock the panels together.

The Tabla Technoform Wall Form system is a light weight cold rolled modular steel hand set system designed for maximum strength, durability and compatibility. Our wall system is based on the American snap tie system and offers rugged siderails that are specially hot rolled sections of minimum 60,000 PSI. The structural capacity of this excellent frame member is maintained even with the punching of strategic alignment holes along the neutral axis.

At the same time the Panel Lock captures the end of a flat or wire tie that connects the opposite set of panels. The ties are of light duty high tensile steel construction and can be left in the concrete. The ends are snapped off after

All the Tabla Technoform panels and accessories use the one locking method. The Technoform Steel Spring-Lock not only connects the panels and accessories together but also anchors the American Tie System.

**More sophisticated cone ends are available for ties that must remain in the concrete to prevent contaminant leakage, etc.

All tie types are made from very high tensile steel. American Flat tie type is an inexpensive utility tie. This tie “breaks back” 6 mm insider the wall surface. The Welded Wire tie type is a (very) high tensile welded wire loop tie. This tie “breaks back” 25 mm inside the wall surface. The Euro tie can be provided as a straight through recoverable tie inserted in a plastic (or other) tube. The Euro tie is also available cut to length with steel cone** ends for tie setback into the concrete wall (the tie remains, the cone is recovered). The Euro Soldier uses 15 mm dig ties with minimum strength of 46 kn Fu.

the panels are removed or the ties can be sleeved with a plastic sleeve and recovered or use the 15 mm tie alternative method. The forms are designed to be manageable by one man and therefore the largest form is 2400x600 mm and weighs about 34 kg. The Technoform Wall panels are designed to withstand a concrete pressure of maximum 58 kn/m2. More ties are required towards the bottom of the form than needed at the top. Should free flowing concrete be poured into a form taller than 2400 mm, then it is necessary to take into consideration the type of concrete and how fast the concrete will set up. The Technoform Wall System is also designed with a special panel called the Euro Soldier. This panel uses Euro ties which eliminates using the American snap tie. These ties should optimally be used with two 750x1200 mm standard panels which are connected to the 250x2400 mm Euro Soldier. The Euro Soldier tie is a 15 mm diameter dwidag high tensile continuously threaded (deformed) rod. This rod can be also sleeved and recovered or remain in the concrete. This configuration greatly reduces the number of ties as they go through each Euro Soldier and only 3

are required. On a comparison basis the Euro Soldier requires one tie fpr every 0.8 square metres while the snap tie requires one every 0.288 square metres. Another great benefit of the Euro Soldier is that it can remain in place while a new Euro Soldier is added to the top of same to smoothly accommodate climbing forms.

The Tabla Technoform Wall System gives great flexibility and alternative methodology all in one convenient package. The system also comes with a variety of smaller panels called fillers and inside and outside corners. These are made entirely from steel and are used to make up specific dimensions. connectivity. The Technoform System can accommodate any special pieces and all custom shapes that may be required. The system comes with all of the necessary accessoriess such as walkway brackets, bracing systems, lacing systems and walers. It is readily assembled into crane handle forms which is a great time saver on a large construction site.

Euro Soldier

2400 Series Euro Soldier

The Tabla Technoform wall panel system is also designed to use Euro ties (replacing the American snap tie). These ties should optimally be used with the 750 mm wide panel connected to the 250 mm wide Euro Soldier. The Euro Soldier accommodates the euro tie, which is a 15 mm dia. dwidag high tensile continuously threaded (deformed) rod. This rod can be sleeved and recovered or remain in the concrete. In this configuration there is a greatly reduced number of ties. Only 3 are required in an 2400 mm high pour and the ties are 1 metre apart, or 0.80 sq. metres per tie. A nice benefit of the Technoform Euro Soldier is that the Euro Soldier can remain in place with a 2nd Euro Soldier added to the top, to smoothly accommodate climbing forms. The Tabla Technoform forming system gives great flexibility and alternative methodology all in one. Panels and the Euro Soldier are readily assembled into crane handle forms. Technoform gives the contractor the flexibility of snap tie construction, bigger euro tie construction or gang form construction.

The Euro Soldier is perfect for climbing, simply by using a 2nd Euro Soldier on top of the first pour. You then have a fully supported climbing frame for installing the 750 mm (or other size) panels and for attaching the supporting walkway brackets and diagonal braces – simple.

Alignment Brackets use one or two lumber members, or scaffold tubing which simply attach to the panels with Bracket Connectors. These connectors are to be used for alignment only. Using the proper alignment members ensures that the form remains straight.
