Why choose this course?If you don't have the appropriatequalifications to get straight on to abachelors degree in a technology subject,you can do this preparatory course for ayear first.

About the courseThis course is academically challengingand vocationally orientated, and willprovide you with a range of knowledge,experience and skills.

You'll be introduced to concepts inelectrical, civil or mechanical engineering,product design, or architecturaltechnology. You'll also learn how to writereports, essays and provide presentationsof a reasonable standard on a subjectwithin your chosen field.

How you’ll learnYou'll have workshops and practicalsessions, so you'll be able to usespecialist equipment and software. Thereare several different ways we test yourunderstanding and competence. Theseinclude lab work, written report writing,presentations, case studies, computerbased exercises and exams.

Your careerWhen you've successfully completed thiscourse, you can go on to the appropriatebachelors degree.
