In the early 70s, Tecnomagnetewas the first company to invent andoffer a permanent-electro magneticsystem able to perform with highpower and in total safety forclamping and lifting ferrous parts ofany shape and size.
The early 80s Tecnomagnetefurther developed this system bypatenting the square pole circuit
with a neutral yoke calledQuadsystem.This enabled them to manufacturepermanent-electro systems moreefficient and able to satisfy thevarious requirements ofworkholding for heavy duty cuttingon machine tools.
During the 90s Tecnomagnete wasagain the first to apply suchtechnology for quick mold clampingon plastic injection machines.
The permanent electro circuitQuadsystem made with squarepoles of alternating polarizationNorth/South in a chessboardconfiguration guarantees the flat
and horizontal circuiting of themagnetic flux concentratedexclusively in the polar area.
A short electric pulse lasting some
fractions of second activatesthe system securing the clampingof the mold for unlimited timewithout consuming electricalenergy or generating any heat.Only by a subsequent electricpulse is it possible to demagnetizethe system and disengagethe mold that has been heldexclusively by the strengthof permanent magnets duringthe working session.

A mold - when magneticallyclamped - does not receive any stressor deformation as itsholding strength is equallydistributed across
the contact area insteadof the peripheral pointswhen the traditionalsystems are in use whichunavoidably also tendsto bend with heavymolds.
The combination of mold/magneticmodule/machine platen becomesa perfect match andguarantees superior
operating conditions.The absence of deflectionsin the mold and machineplatens translates to betterquality and repeatability ofthe molded parts.
Each square pole of the Quad-Presssystem is an independent magneticisland made by a steel core andsurrounded on its 5 faces byhigh energy permanent magnets
(AlNiCo + neodymium) able to generatea high value of magneto motive force(m.m.f.) concentrated and constant atindefinite period of time.The total holding force availableis directly proportional to the number ofmagnetic poles engaged with the surfaceof the mold thus always predictable.
The innovative polar geometryof QuadPress can reach the maximumoperating efficiency even on molds ofsmaller size being the polar area
concentrated in the inner surface of themagnetic module corresponding almostto the size of the smallest moldacceptable by the machine.

in the neutral area detects thepresence of the mold to enable the
activationof the magnetization cycle.
The 0,2 mm (0.0078 in) threshold
value prevents any open field magnetization togrant the operator safety and it immediately
halts the machine functions in caseof mold detachment. The full safety
for the operator is also granted.

Designed according to the upmostrecent standardizations Euromap, SPI,JIS. It can be interfaced with greatflexibility both to new or existingmachines. High level of integrationcan be achieved with those machineproperly prearranged with interfacesignals.

only when the mold is perfectlypositioned and the system magnetized.The electronic control units arestandard equipped with UCScurrent Control and FCSFlux Control Systems.The electric panelis contained instandardized watertightcabinet IP54 rated.
Remote control
All the operating functionsare activated and controlledby a dedicated remote push-button
