The Visual Language of Electrical Engineering
EDSA Technical 2000 is a feature-rich, streamlined, forward-looking release of the world's leading Electrical Design softwareproduct. It begins with the integration of more than 400 new and enhanced productivity tools to shorten your design cycles and toconnect you to your colleagues and to your design data.
Delivering the broadest and most productive toolset available, EDSA Technical 2000 helps you explore your creativity, work atpeak efficiency, and achieve the highest quality results.
COMPATIBILITY
EDSA Technical 2000 provides the foundation for an interoperable family of Design 2000 Autodesk products, including 3D Studio MAX, 3D Studio VIZ,AutoCAD LT, Actrix Technical 2000, Autodesk Volo View and all the various flavors of AutoCAD (Map, Mechanical) and desktop editions (Mechanical,Architectural, Land Development).
EDSA Technical 2000 is also compatible with the latest Microstation product line.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Hardware: Pentium-based PC (minimum), 166 MHz or faster (recommended).
OS: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000.RAM: 16MB RAM (minimum) for Windows 98/95 (32MB recommended) 24MB RAM (minimum) for Windows 2000/NT (32MB recommended).Other: Mouse/pointer (Microsoft IntelliMouse recommended); CD-ROM drive.
Networking
EDSA Technical 2000 is designed to operate in a networked environment. A Windows NT or Windows 2000 workstation or server may be used managelicens- es. EDSA software is managed by an automatic installer and the Flexlm License Management system. FLEXlm (tm) is a network licensing systemthat lets you use EDSA licensed software products.
EDSA supports Single Machine licenses and Floating licenses. A Single Machine license lets you use EDSA software on the workstation where the license is
installed. A Floating license lets you use EDSA software on any workstation on the same network. TCP/IP and Netbui protocols are required.
