TeeterPal Studio
Production Camp
This spring break, direct and star in your own short Film!
Bring your script to life as you learn how to shoot and edit movies and express yourself through
acting, while exploring entry level filmmaking techniques. Work with classmates as part of a
production team to develop a story idea and capture exciting movie footage with dynamic
camera angles using Apple iPad. Then add drama to your movie by adding music and unique
audio and visual effects using Apple iMovie.
Screen your original movie at the end of the week and attend a TeeterPal Studio Film
Awards ceremony. This is a dress-‐up event for kid filmmakers just like what we see in the
Oscars, red carpet and plenty of awards for your hard work!
Everyone will leave the camp with a fun experience in filmmaking as a whole project and the
skills you need to bring your stories to the screen. We offer advanced and diverse classes
weekly if kids want to explore more about media production.

Learning Points
The basics of the moviemaking process from pre-‐production storyboarding, filming and post-‐
production editing.
• Screen writing and acting:
Write a script with team memebers. Discussing, exploring different roles in a story and acting.
• Shooting and recording:
Create dynamic camera angles and shots using shooting and recording techniques.
• Editing:
Discover how to add drama using music and sound effects.
• Social Media output
Learn how to output a movie for web platforms like YouTube and how to promote film projects.
Project Infomation
Students will create a original story-‐based movie with their teammates.

TeeterPal Studio film courses teach students the general moviemaking process, while using high
quality Apple products. From pre-‐production storyboarding and scriptwriting to acting, filming,
all the way through post-‐production editing, the students are sure to enjoy great friendships
and fun films while sharpening their skills!
All studio classes and outdoor filming activities are designed by producer Jas. Jas is major in
communication and media studies (Master). She worked in many reality TV show production
crews and joined some popular talk shows as a guest. She and her production crew were
nominated for an Emmy award (College Television Awards). They also won a regional Emmy for
their own production -‐-‐ A reality TV show.

Jas designed other products for TeeterPal Studio such as Advanced Production classes,
Journalism, Broadcasting and Digital Media&Web Design classes. She also developed several
weekend projects and trips such as "Hollywood VIP experience -‐-‐ Live audition and more" and
"LA media production exploring tour -‐-‐ Meet the Industry." Kids who joined this spring camp
would have a lot of opportunities to get closer to the industry and go on TV, radio, YouTube
channels and other media platforms.
