Una metropoli abitata da più di 2 milioni di persone con un’area metropolitana di 12 milioni di abitanti, Parigi ospita la residenza di uno stilista e dellasua famiglia. “Quando ci siamo trovati qui fuori con l’agente immobiliare stavo per girare i tacchi e andarmene.Poi ho dato uno sguardo all’interno:è stato amore a prima vista.”

GEOMETRY AND COLORThe geometric effect that dominates the composition does not undo all the functions enclosed inside the compartments: the folding wall units include an integrated hood and a convenient dish-rack.

L’effetto geometrico che domina la composizione non annulla le funzioni racchiuse all’interno dei vani: i pensili a pacchetto contengono una cappa a scomparsa e un comodo scolapiatti.

A PADOVA UN APPARTAMENTO AFFACCIATO SULLA NATURA, DISEGNATO A QUATTRO MANI DA UNA GIOVANE COPPIA. FUORI CI SONO LE MILLE SFUMATURE DI VERDE DEL PAESAGGIO CIRCOSTANTE. DENTRO I COLORI SI ANNULLANO QUASI; È TUTTO UN GIOCO DI BIANCO E NERO. RIFATTI GLI INTERNI, ARREDARE ERA FACILE: PERLORO, IL DESIGN È UN MESTIERE.

In PADUA an apartment overlooking the nature, four hands

designed by a young couple. Outside there are the thousand

shades of green of the surrounding landscape. Inside the colors

almost vanish, it’s all a game of black and white. Once redone

the interior, furnishing was easy: for them, design is a skill.

OPEN SPACES,STRONG LINES, ECLECTIC DESIGNThe intervention on the space has privileged openness. “The apartment was a maze of cubicles and closed rooms, we have proposed a kind of unitary object.”

L’intervento sullo spazio è andato nel senso dell’ apertura.“L’appartamento era un labirinto di scomparti e stanze chiuse,

noi abbiamo proposto una sorta di oggetto unitario.”

Scelte naturali. Come un osservatorio in mezzo a un bosco,per vivere i ritmi e i colori delle stagioni, una tradizionale architetturanordica di legno, nei pressi di Oslo, viene reinterpretata a misura di famiglia. “Abbiamo spogliato gli interni e cercato di renderli il più possibile semplici econtemporanei. Volevamo una casaminimal, ma calda e confortevole.”dice la padrona di casa.

Natural choices. The way an observatory in the middle of a forest, to experience the rhythms and colors of the seasons, a traditional Nordic wooden architecture near Oslo, is reinterpreted for families. “We have stripped the interior and tried to make it as simple and contemporary as possible. We wanted a minimalist house, but warm and comfortable.” Says the landlady. 32
