Telecom-IT Integrator of telecommunications, Wi-Fi and Alarming
As a telecom integrator Telecom-IT has built its own alarm-server branded as LynX. LynX has proven its stability and reliability being installed at a few hundred locations in Europe. The solution has multiple modules allowing integration with all sorts of platforms using all sorts of protocols (XML, ISDN, CSTA, HTTP, ESPA, etc.).
Benefits A few key benefits of LynX are:
• Fully configurable on server side • Modularly built, modularly priced • User friendly end-user interfaces • Unlimited text conversion e.g., fire-detector numbers • Endless configuration possibilities • Enhanced clustering capabilities and remote-site handling • History of notifications on the device • Busy Lampfields showing the status of colleagues • Advanced Server Clustering capabilities
Device monitoring and server awareness allow the solution to react based on user statuses, locations and then distribute notifications based on the information collected. Multiple notifications can be sent to the same user simultaneously, which are shown in the diagram above. The solution can also play notification sounds based on shifts and alarm priorities.
It also allows for triggering events by the end user. For example to open doors using the handset or start an evacuation alarm.
Camera integration allowing the user to see who’s at a certain location and trigger events based on that (e.g. who’s at the door, open the door).
System Overview
Spectralink integration is built into the server allowing the Android App installed on PIVOT to connect to the LynX server using its proprietary protocol.
For the 84-series the webserver and websocketserver are built in the LynX server allowing immediate communication with the device based on the LynX configuration.
