Our Traditions in pictures Advent, Santa Claus, Christmas are celebrated within classes, we usually have Christmas party in the school, when we get our presents from our friends and classmates. After that we usually have a winter holiday.
To advertise our school we have Open doors and Family day, when primary school students or children from kindergarden with their parents come to our school; they visit lessons and play games as well.
On Luca-day the school- corridors become a market place. The classes prepare cookies and drinks for sale.
Burning of ‘kiszebáb’ which is a puppet with magic
power. It chases winter away. We prepare a straw puppet and set a fire on the school yard. We use tools and instruments like rattles, whistles, drums, and other noise making objects.
Telepy day and the traditional Sports day mean sport or other intellectual competitions for classes and we spend the whole day completing different tasks.

Being healthy or being and acting as environmentally conscious
students are also important for us. In our classes we have containers for paper, plastic or can, so we can collect waste separately. We also have paper-collecting competition twice a year.
