clark peTerson - chief execuTive officer
With more than twenty-three years o experience in the telecommunications
industry, Clark Peterson brings extensive leadership and insight to his role
as Chie Executive Ocer o Telesphere. His experience, spanning both the
wireline and wireless industries, has been with some o the most respected
names in the telecommunications industry.
Beore joining Telesphere in late 2006, Mr. Peterson served as President o Major Markets at Clearwire.
As one o the rst employees o Clearwire, Mr. Peterson was a key part o building Clearwires oundation
and successully executing its business plan. While there the company launched 28 markets, grew to
over 800 employees, acquired 88,000 customers, and went public in 2006.
Beore that, Mr. Peterson was President o XO Communications largest region. XO is the nations largest
competitive local exchange carrier. There Mr. Peterson drove the growth o a P&L o over 250 million
in revenue and he was responsible or the management o over 260 employees spread over several
markets, including the major markets o Los Angeles and San Francisco. He also perormed several
other prior roles with XO and NEXTLINK which went public in 1997, including serving as the General
Manager or NEXTLINK and launching and building the Las Vegas market which became the highest ree
cash fow positive market or the company.
Mr. Peterson has also held other various sales and marketing management positions in the wireless
industry, including Director o Sales and Marketing at AT&T Wireless Services, a Director at McCaw
Revenue Development, and a Product Director or McCaw Cellular Communications/Cellular One. Mr.
Peterson was twice voted Top 40 Businessmen under 40 in the state o Nevada. Mr. Peterson has a
degree in business management rom BYU.
He serves on the Board o Directors or Telesphere, Boys & Girls Clubs o Greater Scottsdale, Phoenix
Chamber o Commerce, Tempe Chamber o Commerce, Boy Scouts o America Grand Canyon District,
and is Chairman o the National Cloud Communication Alliance.
