Topic: Television is dangerous because it has destroyed the family living and communication. Some people said that it absorb people’s time too much that they have no time to talk to each other. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Do you usually turn on the TV set when you arrive home? And of course, the answer is “ Yes”. It is indeep the bad thing that has destroyed the family living and communication with two reasons: the time of watching TV is too much and children listen to the TV more than their parents.

Nowadays, people often plug into the world of TV. So that’s the reason they spend all spare time to in front of TV screen instead of chatting with their family. Moreover, viewers are very busy with many programs for all ages, they are broadcasted almost the time of the day. For example, films and news for adults or cartoons for children. It’s rarely have time to talk together between members in family.

One more reason, kids are affected easily when they contact with whatever for a long time. With educational funtion, TV will replace the position of the parents in home, in family. In many family, even teenagers don’t take care about what their parents say, and the parents can’t teach them. Futhermore, there are many shows or programs that’re not suitable with kids and teens. Unusual behaviors such as: violent crime, fights, killing... will be studied and copied in life. In this case, TV has more powerful than parents on education.

But in term of entertainment, TV is a wonderful tool help people relax after hard working day. It make people feel more comfortable and don’t feel sad whenever. Undefinable that TV has benefit in human’s life, it’s also appear wherever in the world. And it’s also make people watch TV and waste time for it. As a result, family relationship is not good, not important.

For all these reasons, there is no doubt that TV has broken the family living and communication. In my opinion, I think viewers should consider about what they watch and balance between family and entertainment.
