Wecontinuetolearnandgrowevenaswecopewithmultiplearea-wideschoolclosingsduetobittercoldandthesnowiestFebruaryonrecord.
WefinallywereabletocelebrateourfirstsemesterawardsatourschoolMassmid-month-duetothesnow-nearlytwoweeksaftertheendofourfirstsemester.WehandedoutmultipleawardsthatrecognizedscholarswhomettheirNWEAwintergrowthgoals,bestconduct,academicexcellence,andhonorrollscholars,aswellasrecognizingoutstandingmiddleschoolscholarsinMath,Science,SocialStudiesandLanguageArts.Wearesoproudoftheacademicgrowthourscholarsaremaking.
OurKindergartenthroughFourthgraderswentonafieldtriptotheWorksmuseumwheretheylearnedengineeringskills.
OurentiregroupofK-8scholarsalsowenttoOrchestraHallaspartofourVocalEssenceresidencyprogram,whichhighlightedAfricanandAfricanAmericanwomeninmusic.
Re-Registrationfor2019-2020:Itistimetoregisterforthe2019-20schoolyear.Atconferences,youweregivenaformtofilloutmanuallyoryoucangodirectlytoourwebsiteandfillouttheGoogleformthatisonlineundertheadmissionstab.Thisisoneofthefirststepsinthere-registrationprocessandreservesyourspotfortheupcomingyear.Pleasehelpusoutbyfillingoutthisformsoonsoweknowhowmanyspaceswehaveavailablefornewstudents.Wewanttogiveprioritytoourcurrentfamilies,butifwedon'thearfromyou,youmaybeputonawaitinglist.ThanksforyourhelpinspreadingthenewsaboutthegreatthingsthatarehappeningatSPC!

From the Dean’s Den ThankGodwehaveamonthtocelebratethemanycontributionsthatBlackAmericanshavemadetotheUnitedStatesofAmerica.
Asaparentofascholarmyself,BlackHistoryandcontributionsfromBlackAmericansshouldbecelebratedandlearnedabouteveryday.TeachingourscholarsaboutthecurrentandpastsuccessofBlackAmericansisimperative.Ithelpstodevelopself-loveanditfostershopethatthrutheGraceofGodallthingsarepossible.
Thisisaperfecttimeofyeartostudyandlearnwithyourscholar—notonlythecontributionsthatweremadetothisnationbyBlackAmericansbutalsothemanyprofessionsthatourscholarscandiscoverandpossiblybecome.Ourpastwasbasedoncreativityandownership.Wemusthelpourscholarsdevelopthatdriveandpassiontobecomeworldchangers.
