We continue to learn and grow even as we cope with multiple area-wide school closings due to bitter cold and the snowiest February on record. We finally were able to celebrate our first semester awards at our school Mass mid- month - due to the snow - nearly two weeks after the end of our first semester. We handed out multiple awards that recognized scholars who met their NWEA winter growth goals, best conduct, academic excellence, and honor roll scholars, as well as recognizing outstanding middle school scholars in Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. We are so proud of the academic growth our scholars are making. Our Kindergarten through Fourth graders went on a field trip to the Works museum where they learned engineering skills. Our entire group of K-8 scholars also went to Orchestra Hall as part of our Vocal Essence residency program, which highlighted African and African American women in music. Re-Registration for 2019-2020: It is time to register for the 2019-20 school year. At conferences, you were given a form to fill out manually or you can go directly to our website and fill out the Google form that is online under the admissions tab. This is one of the first steps in the re-registration process and reserves your spot for the upcoming year. Please help us out by filling out this form soon so we know how many spaces we have available for new students. We want to give priority to our current families, but if we don't hear from you, you may be put on a waiting list. Thanks for your help in spreading the news about the great things that are happening at SPC!
