What animals live in it

These are some of the animals that live in the temperate deciduous forest. The american toad has ponds to live in and lay eggs in, the eastern chipmunk gets his food from the trees by waiting for some acorns to fall from the tree. The yellow-breasted chat lives in the tall trees. The black bear has the rivers to get his food and his fur helps him to better survive in cold weather. The wild turkey feeds on a variety of plants.

Abiotic Factors

The abiotic factors are important to this forest because the animals like the bear need the rivers to get food and survive and they need the rain so that the plants can grow because the wild turkey and other animals eats them.
