    Claim magickal goals for yourself. This is a good time for fertility magickand fertility rites. Wear the sacred; rabbit, snake, or fish pendants orcharms for fertility rites. If youre not involved in sacred fertility rites it timeto pamper yourself, and cleanse and wash away negativity. Take a longshower watch the negative go down the drain. Take time for that dip in thepool, put your toes in the water and sit on the edge of the bath and dip yourfeet in the water for a quick pick me up. Enjoy a footbath or give others afootbath in ritual. We did this at one of the Full Moon Goddess Rituals inthe 1990s and it was very successful and brought us all closer to each

    other in a very sacred way. Enjoy a nail and toe manicure/pedicure. Haveyour hair deep conditioned or do a hot oil treatment yourself. Take timeshaving and put on oils after to feel that luxurious softness in your skin.

    Decorate your house with roses or daisy flowers, or some other plants, orbuy and African violet or some other houseplant. Spider plants promote O2and rid the air of Co2.

    Practice grounding with full foliage trees. Place your hands on the treesand combine your roots with the trees, feel the life giving energy it gives to

    you and feel its sap flow under your palms of your hands. Find a tree in illhealth and heal it send it nourishing energy. Read a book under a tree.Send healing to my two trees that need nourishment and are in ill health.

    The sun is in the sign of Cancer. Wear sun screen a hat, umbrella and getskin checks. Wear sunglasses for eye UV protection. And take Kelp foryour hair to prevent sun damage.

    Within our own Family, it is up to the Adra to make sure that their Nadjafollows our Code of Conduct and addresses all Elders by their full andformal nightside name, and the Nadja/lower in title/position may choose tohonor them by including their title in the address, which is up to theirdiscretion. For example, Greetings Goddess Rosemary, Temple SahjazaMatriarch, or Greetings Goddess Rosemary. Use of addressingGoddess Rosemary as Mother should be used in private, not public

    functions, thus propitiating the use of her proper name by others who willfollow your example, and to address her as Mother should only bethereafter first initial addressing to our spiritual leader, and TempleMatriarch, as Goddess Rosemary.

    There is a chain of command that should be followed for communicatingideas, issues, challenges, problems or general feedback, A new Familymember should approach their Adra or sponsor, and thus they would go totheir own Adra or closest Elder, and up to the Priestesses, and from there

    to the Matriarch.

    The reasons for this protocol are many. Sometimes viewing a situation fromthe perspective of another can resolve an issue before it reaches theMatriarch. If it is for another occasion, such as an introduction or an eventidea, then the Adra has the esteemed pleasure of presenting their Nadja(who has clearly respected our titles and chain of command while followingproper procedure) what a grand display of respect and honor this is and allwill benefit from it.

    We will respect all of our Elders, of title and or physical age, and we willhold them in high regard. We value all that we can learn from them. Let ustake for example the Native American path. Hardly any cultural group isattending to and learning from Elders as they should, or could be. Eldersare assets and rewarding resources; much more learned then our belovedGoogle. There is still plenty to be learned about the world and how to livein it. We learn by listening and respecting Elders, not just in our community,but also in the world at large. Elders have a masters degree from theUniversity of Life. What they allow to be shared with us is a gift.

    The men within Sahjaza will be chivalrous at all times.

    The women within Sahjaza will conduct themselves as confident ladies.

    We are the embodiments of elegance, class, intelligence, hospitality,loyalty, honesty, fairness, and compassion.

    The Sahjaza do not engage in or get embroiled or involved with drama orrumors within the Vampyric scene. Its unproductive and a waste of energy.

    The Sahjaza shall respect all titles of members within other Households orOrders. If attending an event hosted by another House or Order, we canmake a formal introduction in writing about our support and appearance attheir upcoming event. All applications of common sense will be used. For

    example, if they are your host, compose yourself with esteemed gratitude.Composure is key, act according to the event and your surroundings. Thisalso applies to online eventsas well. When an Elderexpresses an opinion on agroup or page, thank them forsharing their knowledge even if you do not agree withwhat was expressed.

    We will do and assist all thatis within our power to co-existin harmony with other Housesor Orders so that we may allbenefit from the connectionand networking within the Vampyric scene.

    We urge you to set the bar up high, be a good role model and lead byexample. Show the mundane world and our community that when it comes

    to general good manners, civility and respecting all whom you come incontact with, the Sahjaza proves that on some level, everyone is worthy ofyour respect. You do not have to like someone to treat them with respect.What you project and how you behave, becomes the perception, and givenback. Like begets like.

    Sahjaza Family members are asked to always think before they act. Thismeans that our own personal opinions may have to be put aside for thebetterment of the community, Family and scene. We are always

    representing Sahjaza in all that we do at any given moment. One mustnever lose site of that and what that means. We must strive to be better.This is our duty because this is what separates us from them.

    The Goddess we have chosen to honorthis month is the fertility goddess,

    Xochiquetzal.

    This Goddess is associated withconcepts of fertility, beauty, and femalesexual power, serving as a protector ofyoung mothers and a patroness ofpregnancy, childbirth, and the crafts

    practiced by women such as weaving and embroidery.

    Invoke Ichpuchtli for beauty, sensuality, survival, crafts, fertility, childbirth,agriculture, dance, music, singing, repopulation, flower magic, sexualfreedom, love spells, knot magic, sexual pleasure, sex magic, and a fruitfulmarriage. Feathers, marigolds, and small earthenware images of her areappropriate offerings.

    Anthropologist Hugo Nutini identifies her with the Virgin of Ocotlan in hisarticle on patron saints in Tlaxcala. She was also the Aztec goddess calledthe great goddess or Teotihuacan spider woman. A retinue consisting ofbirds and butterflies followed her. Worshippers wore animal and flower

    On July 2nd, in ancient Rome, the festival of expectantmothers took place. During this ancient Roman festival,pregnant women would gather at the temples throughoutthe city to receive blessings from Goddesses associated

    with birth and fertility. Some of the Goddesses includeJuno, Diana, Bona Dea, Carmenta and Lucina.

    A little chat about death. I do not intend to build any articles

    here, just sharing a reflection that a digital chat with friendsand friends woke me up this holiday of Corpus Christis.After having experienced some situations of great risk tolife and improbable chance of survival over the previousdecades, I became a bit skeptical of tons of publicationsand conversations-spiders that permeate the matter ofdeath and life after death. And as this is my digital space,write what I want here:

    I do not think ... that builds "mileage points" between lives. Every Life a

    destination, a life and a destination at a time. I see the remnants of ancienttexts provost of the Mediterranean and the North Sea I end up with exactlythis impression. I believe that after the end of a lifethat we experience real integrates with what isappropriate in rhythm, vibration, and affinity toleave behind a volatile temper and accumulatedemotional tensions for all traversed the needs weface while living; also left a body that integrates thebit again to all the decomposition or putrefaction.
