As from the 1st July 2016 all applications for Temporary Permit application will be done electronically on www.ecitizen.go.ke.
Go to www.ecitizen.go.ke and click on create an Account.Once Logged in, Select Deparment of Immigration services.Select submit Appplication.Select Passports and Temporary permits.Select Temporary permit application and read the Instructions Carefully.Fill in the application form.Pay Using Mpesa, Airtel money, Visa, Mastercard or MobiKash.Download and print the Temporary Permit from your eCitizen account then stick your passport photo on the permit.Present your printed Temporary Permit plus original ID to the immigration officer at the port of exit or a birth certificate for minors.
