TOUR HOSTS

Dave Phillips, and his son Andrew, are group leaders for this trip. Dave has been preaching at the Germantown church of Christ, outside of Memphis, since 1992. Andrew has been preaching at the Graymere church of Christ in Columbia, TN since 2011. Andrew was a minister at the Mt. Juliet church of Christ, where he helped coordinate several group mission efforts to Ukraine. Both Dave and Andrew are graduates of Freed-Hardeman University and Harding School of Theology and teach as adjunct faculty at FHU. Combined, they have been on more than a dozen trips to various parts of the word with various groups, including Ukraine, Greece and Israel. Dave hosted a trip to both Greece and Israel in the fall of 2018. The great reception from participants lead to 40 signing up to travel in 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic, it was

delayed until 2022. We are excited to be planning this trip. “Our trips to the Holy Land confirmed the belief that nothing compares with walking the streets that Jesus would have walked and seeing the sites that the apostles would have seen. It’s difficult to determined which is better – the beautiful waves on the Sea of Galilee or the bustling city of Jerusalem where so much history has been made. The scenery, the food, the devotionals and the fellowship will enrich your appreciation for Bible study and for what God has done and continues to do in our lives. We hope you can join us.”
