dream of all of us that is inauguration of our prestigious “Tenali Ramakrishna Kavi

Kalakshetram “ was fulfilled with a grand event, Now People and Artists of Tenali will show

their talents and arts in this Kalakshetram itself without going somewhere else.

In this Month of July we are proudly announcing that we inaugurated another park near bus

stand and many other parks under AMRUT scheme are also going to Inaugurated very soon,

thereby the Percentage of Green Cover in Tenali Municipality is increased from 12.5% to

15%, where the Benchmark of 15% – 18% will be achieved after this completion. As per the

Instructions given by the State government different activities like “Vanam – Manam” &

“Domalapai Dandayatra” are conducted in a Massive level in this month in Tenali

Municipality. Along with this we thought to conduct a Awareness Campaign on Dugs usage

to students and conducted in Kalakshetram very Successfully. It gives pleasure that two

events are already happened in our Kalakshetram in the opening month itself. The Happy

Sunday event for the month of July was conducted in the premises of Kalakshetram in a

massive level where people from all different categories and students are participated in the

event and it was loaded with lot of happiness on that day.

Inauguration of TENALI RAMAKRISHNAKAVI KALAKSHETRAM On 8th July 2017, The Prestigious Construction for Tenali Municipality, the “Tenali Rama

Krishna KaviKalakshetram” Popularly Known as Town Hall has Inaugurated. It was

Inaugurated by Member of Parlament Sri MuraliMohan ,Honble Speaker Sri Kodela Siva

Prasad and Honble MinistersPrathipatiPullarao,NakkaAnandBabu, KamineniSrinivas,

ChinnaRajappa and our Honble MLA Sri AlapatiRajendraprasad. The Opening Ceremony was

happened with grand celebrations with all types of cultural dances and arts.

Development of Green Spaces and Parks

As per URDPFI Guidelines of Government of India, Tenali Municipality should have 15-18%

of Green Cover in total Land use of the City. But At present In Tenali we have nearly 12.5%

of Green Cover Existing, So to Increase the Percentage of green Cover Tenali Municipality

taken an Initiative to develop Number of Colony Parks and Major Parks in the city. In Part of

that Initiative by utilising the AMRUT Scheme two colony parks and one major park are

going to develop in the city where the park near Chenchupet is going to be inaugurated

soon. Another Colony Park In front of Bus stand is developed and inaugurated in the month

of July.

Happy Sunday event at Kalakshetram

On 23rd July 2017, 3rd week of the month Happy Sunday event was conducted from morning

6 am to 11 am at Tenali Ramakrishna kavi Kalakshetram, Tenali, event became cheerful and

entertaining all over the period. The Students from VSR & NVR College and all the Municipal

Schools are participated in the event by giving their performances and sports. The Municipal

Commissioner and Municipal Chairman and all other officials are actively participated in the

event. All types of performances like skits, Painting, Magic Show and Sports like Badminton,

Throw ball, Volley ball, Tug of war..etc are conducted in the event.

Vanam – Manam Program & Placement of Fibre Tree Guards

In the starting of the month of July “Vanam – Manam “ Program was conducted in the city

and the Honble MLA Alapati Rajendra prasad participated in the program, Along with MLA

RDO,Tenali and Municipal Commissioner & Chairman are actively Participated in the event

and made students to plant number of trees on streets. Along with this drive a new

invention is launched in Tenali Municipality of placing the Fibre Tree guards instead of steel

grids, these are more flexible and foldable and these will placed and can be removable at

any time.

Domalapai Dandayatra Campaign & Rally

On 1st July, Domalapai dandayatra campaign was conducted in Tenali municipality by Honble

MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad and RDO, Commissioner and Municipal Chairman. A Massive

Rally was conducted in which all other staff, Public, Students are participated. Commissioner

and MLA throwed the Anti-Larvae Balls into the water stagnated ponds and lakes.

Drugs Awareness Campaign to Students

By considering the News of Dug usage by the school students in Telangana, An Drug awareness

campaign was conducted in Kalakshetram, where Minister N.Anand Babu and Nannnapaneni

Rajakumari, and MLA, Commissioner, Chairman of Tenali Municipality are Paerticipated in the camp

and given their speech of awareness on Drugs usage to Students.
