SHORT TERM TENDER NOTICE

For and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State sealed tenders affixed with Rs 5/- revenue stamps are invited from Registered dealers/Authorized suppliers/ Authorized Dealers of manufacturers for the supply of RAW MATERIAL FOR “TRADITONAL PHULKARI ARTS” at Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu as per list enclosed in tender document. The tender should be accompanied with the earnest money of Rs.1,000/- (One thousand rupees only) in the form of CDR/FDR pledged to the Principal Government Polytechnic for Women, Lower Shiv Nagar, Jammu of any scheduled bank without which tender will be out rightly rejected. The detailed tender document containing list of raw material/tools and other Terms & conditions can be had from the office of the undersigned on any working day or can be downloaded from college website www.gpfwjammu.org after the publication of this notice in newspaper. The complete sealed tender document with quoted rates along with the earnest money for an amount shown above in the form of CDR/FDR should reach the office of the Principal Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu by hand/Registered post on or before 18.11.2017 upto 4:00 PM. In case that the last day of receipt happens to be a non working day, next working day shall be considered as the last day of receipt of the tender documents. The tender will be opened on 20.11.2017 at Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Lower Shiv Nagar, Jammu at 12:30 PM in presence of the tenderers who may like to be present on opening date. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

1. Tender must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope that should be superscripted “Short

Term Tender for supply of Raw Material for Traditional Phulkari Arts” and addressed to the Principal, Govt. Polytechnic for women, Lower Shiv Nagar, Jammu.

2. The single rate should be quoted F.O.R Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu inclusive of taxes (GST, Entry Tax etc.) All charges/ Freights, Insurance, forwarding and incidental charges, if any wherever applicable.

3. Each tender must be accompanied with a CDR/FDR as indicated in the abbreviated tender notice, pledged in favour of the Principal, Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu without which the tender will not be entertained /accepted Cheque/Demand Draft instead of CDR/FDR will be rejected straight away without any notice.

4. The successful tenderer shall have to make the supplies of the ordered quality, specification, make, mark, size etc. within 15 days from the date of the supply order. The payment will be made only after receipt and verification of the items. Goods other than the approved quality and specification will not be accepted.

5. Tenders received after the prescribed date and time will not be entertained. Any tender received after the date though posted in time but delayed during transit due to postal delay or otherwise will not be entertained and shall be returned to the addressee. However, in case the last date happens to be Strike or holiday then the next working day will be treated as last date for receipt of these tenders.

6. In case any dispute/doubt/deference/question arise between the tenderer and the department regarding interpretation of any of the terms and conditions or any other matter relating to the purchase, the same shall be referred to the Director Technical Education (J&K Govt.) or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf for arbitration, whose decision in the matter shall be final, conclusive and binding upon the parties. All the disputes between the parties involving legal intervention shall be subject to the jurisdiction of J&K High Court.

7. The rates shall remain valid upto 31st of March, 2018. 8. The tenderer should provide the samples of the items. 9. The quantity mentioned in the tender document may increase or decrease as per the
