Game Directions

Number of Players: 2-5 Ages: 6 and above Playing Instructions: Playing tabs are shuffled by the designated dealer. They are then placed on the table, printed face down. Each player takes 6 pieces, and the remaining ones are stacked on the table. The players may look at the pieces they have taken. The dealer takes one tab from the stack, turns it upwards and places it in the center of the playing area. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game. Each player, in turn, tries to place one of his tabs next to another tab already on the table. The following rules apply: • The side tab from the player’s hand must be of the same color as the side of the tab on the table. • The numbers of the two matched tab sides must total ten.

Whenever a player’s hand offers no suitable match for any tab side on the table he/she must then draw another tab from the stack, without first being given an opportunity to look at it. He continues drawing more tabs until a suitable match is found. In this manner, the number of tabs in the player’s hands increases, as in a domino game. The first player to successfully dispose of all his/her tabs is the winner. If no player can achieve that result, the players must add up the points on all the tabs in their hand, and the player whose total is smallest is the winner.
