Kampa offer four ranges of tents:

AirFrameWe offer AirFrame inflatable technology for fast set up with the minimum of fuss. There are eight different models available ranging from a large six berth to a compact two berth but whatever the tent they’re amongst the easiest tents to set up and take down. Despite their high specification and functional design, Kampa AirFrame tents offer exceptional value.

ClassicFor the ultimate in comfort we offer a small range of polycotton tents. This material breathes naturally and provides a comfortable environment inside the tent. Available with both AirFrame or aluminium frames there’s sure to be a model to suit your needs.

EnduranceA quality range of tents with conventional frames in steel or fibreglass. All the Endurance models have a big specification at attractive prices that for a high quality tent cannot be beaten.

AdventureA range of small tents suitable for short breaks and festivals. These are not to be confused with cheap tents, these are proper camping tents with a specification to match.

Kampa AirFrame Technology

The future in your handsAfter years of development Kampa AirFrame tents were introduced to the market several years ago and have revolutionised the way we camp. Gone are the traditional metal or fibreglass poles, replaced by strong, high pressure inflatable AirFrame poles. No more struggling with the tent frame and trying to find the correct pole, the AirFrame is already attached to the tent for simple set up.

So how does it work?It’s simple, traditional poles have been replaced with an inflatable AirFrame that is always attached to the tent. This creates an exceptionally strong structure, probably stronger than a steel frame. It can be inflated using the supplied high volume manual pump or, for the ultimate in ease, with an optional electric pump. An AirFrame can be pumped up in less than 60 seconds using the manual pump.

Other advantages• As well as being the easiest tent to set up, it’s also the easiest to take down.• The inner tents can be kept connected to the tent, saving time for set up and take down• With no metal or fibreglass poles there’s nothing to damage the fabric on your tent• The AirFrame is always attached - you’re never going to forget or lose your poles.• Whilst the AirFrame is very rigid it does flex in the wind meaning that you’ll never break or bend a pole.• As is befitting for what are some of the best tents available today, Kampa AirFrame tents are manufactured using top class materials and workmanship.

What happens if the AirFrame is damaged?The AirFrame is incredibly durable and under normal conditions will not fail. Each AirPole is made of a strong TPU inflation tube that is zipped into a tough reinforced polyester cover. This is then zipped into a heavy duty polyester sleeve in the tent. The inflation tubes are well protected and need no maintenance. Ideal operating pressure is around 7 psi and the poles are tested to 22 psi, a pressure that is not possible to reach using either the supplied pump or the optional electric pump. Should one of the AirPoles be damaged, it is simple to remove the pole and then a simple repair or replacement can be made.

The ultimate AirFrame tent. For those who want the best and need the space, the Croyde 6 Classic AIR is the last word in luxury and style. Pumped up in minutes yet it provides a huge amount of living space and once set up is one of the most stable and weather resistant tents available. The flysheet is manufactured in our Weathershield® AirFlow polycotton fabric, so it will breathe and be cooler in hot weather whilst warmer in cool weather. The interior is separated into three distinct areas - the bedrooms, living room and front room, although the wall between the living room and front room can be rolled away to make one large room. The living area, that contains the bedrooms, has a sewn in groundsheet whilst the front room has a clip in groundsheet. This enables the front room to be used as a ‘wet’ area meaning that nothing wet reaches the living area.

On both sides of the tent you’ll find roll up doors that have mesh panels allowing plenty of ventilation whilst keeping insects out. The right hand side door also has a protective wet weather canopy. Up front the front panel can be opened in various stages, as a door, a large door, or completely open. This configuration is repeated between the front room and living room. The bedrooms are in a 2+2+2 layout allowing maximum flexibility—the zipped curtains between can be rolled away if not required.

Set up and take down are quick and simple. For added protection, in strong winds, the tent comes complete with front and rear storm tie downs.

This is the polyester version of the Croyde 6 Classic AIR sharing all the same features but with a heavy duty Weathershield® 150D polyester flysheet with an enormous 6000 mm hydrostatic head. Lighter and more compact than the Classic version, it still provides the same high level of features. At the rear you’ll find the large bedrooms, in a 2+2+2 configuration and in front of these is a large living area with a fully sewn in groundsheet keeping the weather and bugs at bay.

The front of the tent offers a truly flexible space. It can be incorporated with the main living area to give an exceptionally large interior space or it can divided off to create another room, and if you roll back the front panel, a large sun canopy. It’s also a great area for kicking off your shoes before entering the main living area.

It takes only minutes to pump the tent up and a similar time to fully deflate, but with no effort before rolling up and packing away into the carry bag. The high pressure AirFrame provides a sturdy structure that will cope with the worst of the weather, especially when combined with the storm tie downs that are included for each corner.

Hayling 6 AIR Over the years the Hayling 6 has become a firm favourite with campers across Europe and now it’s available for the first time with an AirFrame. The Hayling 6’s success is down to the exceptional specification at a truly remarkable price and the new inflatable AirFrame version does not disappoint in either category. The tent has our heavy duty Weathershield® 150D polyester flysheet for the ultimate in weather protection and long life. The massive 6000 mm hydrostatic head equates to 6 metres of water - more than adequate for even the wettest days! Set up is as easy as our other AirFrame tents - peg the tent down and pump up the AirPoles – simple.

Once set up there’s loads of living space for a family. The rear bedrooms are in a 3+3 layout with a zipped curtain between the compartments. There’s a large living area with a sewn in groundsheet and a large door in the left hand side with a mosquito mesh screen panel that can be used to keep the bugs out on warm days. The living area has a horizontal front wall that allows full use of the floor area giving so much more space than a sloping front wall. The outstanding feature of this tent is the large built-in front canopy protecting the front door from inclement weather and providing loads of covered living space. This front canopy can be converted into an enclosed area by using the optional Vestibule front panel.

Hayling 4 AIR A four berth version of the Hayling 6 AIR, this tent offers comfortable accommodation for a smaller family or even a couple looking for loads of space. The Hayling 4 has all the same features as its larger sibling but in a more compact footprint. It shares the same large front canopy that’s ideal for day to day living, there’s even room for a table and chairs. This area has its own groundsheet that can be used if required.

The bedrooms are in a 2+2 configuration and there’s a useful organiser in the front wall of the inner tent for your odds and ends. The bedrooms lead into the comfortable living area that has large windows for a great view out and this leads, though a large stable door, into the front canopy.

A superb touring tent the Oxwich 5 is incredibly quick to set up and take down. It features the same materials as our larger AirFrame models but in a more compact package. For longer stays the tent can be extended with the optional front canopy making the tent more versatile - use without the canopy for weekend stays or with the canopy for longer stays. The flysheet is our same heavy duty Weathershield® 150D polyester flysheet with a 6000 mm hydrostatic head, more than enough for the worst camping conditions.

The bedrooms are in a 3 + 2 layout and lead into a large living area with lots of windows. The side door has a mozzie mesh panel and a wet weather canopy that allows dry access when it’s raining and the large front door can be converted into a large sun canopy. The living area groundsheet is fully sewn in and the interior is light and airy thanks to the light coloured roof.

For those who want an inflatable tent but at a more economic price, the Brean 4 AIR could meet all your requirements. Sharing the same AirFrame system as our more expensive tents, this tent uses the flysheet from our Endurance tents which is more than adequate and still offers a 6000 mm hydrostatic head - better than most tents on the market today. Set up is the same as our other AirFrame tents - peg down the sewn in groundsheet and pump up the poles, it couldn’t be simpler.

Access is through the large front door or the equally large side door. The front has a canopy to protect the front door in bad weather and the side door has a large mesh panel to protect the occupants from bugs as does the panel on the other side of the tent. The inner tents are in a 2+2 configuration.

Mersea 4 AIR Lizard 2 AIRFor those looking for an inflatable tent with more compact dimensions, the Mersea 4 AIR could fit the bill. It’s smaller pack size allows it to fit into much smaller cars, or perhaps even motorbikes. It’s an ideal tent for up to four people, or perhaps just a couple or a small family. Set up is even quicker than the bigger tents so you’ll be enjoying your break rather than setting up your tent. Access to the tent is very versatile with a large front door and a door on either side, the side doors also have mosquito mesh panels.

The Lizard 2 AIR is our smallest AirFrame tent. It’s clever design utilises just one AirPole for quick and easy set up. There’s enough space for up to two people with a small area in front of the inner tent for your gear. This is our quickest tent to set up and take down and once packed its compact dimensions are suitable for the smallest car or maybe a motorbike. Like the Mersea 4 AIR the Lizard comes with a more compact pump to keep the pack size down to a minimum.

Croyde 8 Classic

For those looking for a bit more space, the Croyde 8 Classic is the perfect choice. The Croyde 8 Classic builds on the features of its smaller counterpart, the Croyde 6 Classic and has an extended living area, making it one of the most spacious tents available. It shares the same rear layout but also has an oversized two berth bedroom that can be suspended in the front of the tent to give total sleeping accommodation for up to eight people.

Croyde 6 Classic

The Croyde 6 Classic is the perfect tent for families looking for the next step up from a polyester tent but are still looking for great value for money. The front panel allows for the door to be arranged in a number of stages, from just a doorway to fully open. Whilst the material is breathable, ventilation can be found at the rear of the awning with a low level rear vent as well as a zip close front apex vent. The tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet to keep the weather and bugs out and the warmth in. Inside you’ll find a large inner tent that, if required, can be divided into two bedrooms by using the zipped privacy curtain. This inner tent has loads of storage in the organiser built into the front. The upright front wall allows full use of all the interior space and you’ll appreciate the generous headroom that provides a spacious interior. The front of the tent is protected by the large built-in sun canopy that you can shade under on those sunny days and as it’s an integral part of the tent, it is sturdier and less fiddly to set-up unlike some add-on canopies. Oxwich 5 Classic

Building on the success of the polyester version, we are pleased to introduce the Oxwich 5 to our Classic range. The polyester material of the Oxwich 5 has been replaced with Kampa’s polycotton Weathershield® Airflow material allowing the tent to breathe, reducing the chance of condensation making the tent more comfortable. The Oxwich 5 Classic is designed to be very easy to set-up by a single person, with aluminium poles replacing fibreglass. The design is a lot sturdier whilst still being lightweight due to the properties and advantages of aluminium and once erected provides superior accommodation for up to five people.

The side canopy entrance provides sheltered wet weather access to the large living area and a secondary mesh door to let fresh air in but keep the bugs out. On sunny days the front door can be rolled up or set-up as a sun canopy using the canopy poles supplied with the tent. The bedrooms stretch across the rear of the tent and can sleep up to five; a divider is also in place if you require two separate compartments. The Oxwich 5 Classic also offers superior headroom and a large living area with panoramic windows making the interior light and airy and offering a great view out. Each window has its own privacy blind that can easily be stowed away into easy store pockets.

Back inside, the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet and the inner tents have very useful organiser pockets in the front wall as well as pockets inside.

Croyde 6 Series 3

This is the Series 3 version of the popular and highly rated Croyde 6. The Series 3 retains all the best features of the previous model but has some superb new features, the most obvious of which is the modern colour scheme and the uprated waterproofing which is now 5,000mm. The Croyde 6 is packed with ideas to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. The tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet to keep the weather and bugs out and the warmth in. Inside you’ll find a large inner tent that, if required, can be divided into three bedrooms by using the zipped privacy curtains. This inner tent has loads of storage, both in the interior pockets and also in the organiser built into the front. The upright front wall allows full use of all the interior space and you’ll appreciate the generous headroom that provides a spacious interior. The front of the tent is protected by the large built-in sun canopy that you can shade under on those sunny days and as it’s an integral part of the tent, it is more sturdy and less fiddly to set up unlike some add-on canopies. If not required or in stormy conditions, it can simply be stowed away. The Croyde Series 3 now comes in a striking new grey colour with a light grey roof that keeps the interior light and airy.

Watergate 6 Watergate 8Two tents providing comfortable accommodation for between six and eight people. The bedrooms face each other (vis-à-vis) with the large living area between – ideal for extra privacy. The impressive windows make the interior feel light and airy with plenty of headroom. Access comes from the two large side doors, one of which has a protective wet weather canopy for access during inclement weather and both have a secondary mesh door to keep the bugs at bay. The opposite side door can be set up as a sun canopy using the poles supplied. Both sets of inner tents have a useful organiser in the front wall – handy for all your knick-knacks. The Watergate 8 has a 4 + 2 + 2 inner tent layout. Unlike some similar models, the Watergate does not taper at the ends making the tent larger inside, especially the bedrooms. Both models have a fully sewn in groundsheet to keep the weather and insects outdoors.

Hayling 6 Series 3

A tent for campers who do not want to compromise on their family’s comfort and protection from the elements - the Hayling 6 offers superb specifications at unbelievable prices. The Hayling 6 is very quick to set up and compact to carry in the car. Sleeping up to six, it offers a large living area and a great view out through the panoramic windows. For the Series 3 model the depth of the canopy has been increased making the canopy much more usable and the tent even more comfortable.

This large built in front canopy protects the front of the tent from inclement weather but when it’s sunny the large stable door can be opened and the side panel can be rolled up to let the fresh air in. The side door also has a secondary mesh panel to allow a breeze through but keeps out those pesky bugs and the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet and the inner tent is divided by a curtain that can be rolled away if not required. An organiser in the front wall of the inner tent completes this superb package.

Hayling 4 Series 3

In its latest Series 3 format the Hayling 4 has become an even more desirable package. A family favourite, the Hayling 4 has been updated for the 2015 season with a brand new colour scheme, a much larger front canopy and an upgrade to the flysheet material. The built-in front canopy has always been a big feature of the Hayling 4 and it is now much deeper making it more useful. It’s also possible to enclose the canopy using the new optional Vestibule. As always, the Hayling 4 offers superb accommodation for up to four people and its compact folded dimensions means that it’s easy to store and transport. The bedroom area spans the rear of the tent and can be divided into two compartments using the zipped privacy curtain. In the front bedroom wall you’ll find a gear organiser, useful for your day to day odds and ends. The large living area is made to feel even more spacious due to the large panoramic windows which, like all Kampa tents, have blinds that can be closed. The tent has a large front stable door and a side door that can be set up as a canopy. The 2015 Series 3 sports a smart new grey colour scheme.

Oxwich 4, 5 & 6 Series 2

The Oxwich is great for short or long stays. It’s quick to set up, making it ideal for touring, but is comfortable for longer stays because of its generous headroom and high specification. The Oxwich is available in three sizes, the smaller sizes suitable for three to four people whilst the largest will accommodate up to six. All three models have large living areas with large panoramic windows making the interior light and airy and giving a great view out. Each window has its own privacy blind. The large front door panel can easily be converted into a sun canopy using the canopy poles supplied and there is also access through the side door that has a wet weather protection canopy and a secondary mesh door to let fresh air in but keep the bugs out. Back inside, the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet and the inner tents have very useful organiser pockets in the front wall as well as pockets inside. For longer stays a large front canopy is available for each model.

Burnham 4Brean 3 & 6

The Burnham 4 offers plenty of sleeping space with bedrooms that face each other (vis-à-vis) and a large living area between that also offers good headroom. Large windows and lighter roof panels make the interior living area feel light and airy whilst the sleeping area roof panels are darkened to ensure the best night’s sleep. Access comes from the two large side doors and the tent has a fully sewn in groundsheet

to keep the weather and insects outdoors.

New from Kampa for 2015, the Brean series are two superb tents that are ideal for touring, couples and family use. They offer fantastic headroom for a compact sized tent and utilise fibreglass poles for a lightweight and easy setup. The shape of the tent creates a good standing height with plenty of headroom and because of the upright front wall the living area is spacious and very usable. This feeling of spaciousness is further enhanced by the large windows in the front and right hand side of the tent and the large side door on the right hand side that also combines a mosquito mesh panel, great for keeping the tent interior ventilated but the bugs out. The size of the Brean 3 makes it a perfect tent for a couple or small family whilst the Brean 6 will sleep up to six.
