PINOT GRIGIO

• Pinot Grigio is the most widely planted grape in Friuli and has found a unique home here. Friuli makes bar none the best Pinot Grigio available on the market- Pinot Grigio from Friuli has texture and lushness where mass Pinot Grigio does not.

• Hand harvested in the village of Vermegliano, it is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and then aged on the lees until April.

• Elegant and peculiar; delicate and fresh; flowery aromas blend together with mineral notes of crushed stone. On the palate the wines strikes you as fresh and extremely mineral, almost saline characteristic.

Istrian Peninsula (Croatia).

• The town of Ronchi where we are located has historically always been associated with great Malvasia- so much so that the town’s coat of arms features Malvasia leaves.

• Hand harvested in the village of Vermegliano, and the town of San Canzian, it is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and then aged on the lees until April.

• Intense and rich bouquet of apricots, peach and banana together with juniper and orange blossoms. Long, fresh and slightly spicy palate.

“OG PG”

• Many people don’t realize that Pinot Grigio is a “grey” grape (Grigio = grey in italian) not a green grape like most white wines.

• When left to macerate on the skins, the wine takes a coppery or reddish hue.. and once upon a time this is the way Pinot Grigio was made- hence “OG PG” the original Pinot Grigio

• WINEMAKING DESCRIPTION ??????
