In 1988, Bobby Hearn’s Fabrication business set the stage for the current look and style of the Dirt Modi-fied. Twenty years later, Bobby’s chassis designs are doing the exact same thing. His are the ones with the distinctive TEO emblem behind the driver’s seat. His cars are ever changing as his mind digests input from customers and employees.

“When you have a good baseline car, you don’t need to make a lot of big changes”, Bobby says. “You’re bet-ter off making subtle changes that don’t make every other car obsolete.”

TEO strives to be different that competitors, but that hasn’t always been easy. “I think people who have been involved in dirt racing respect me,” Bobby offers quietly. “They can look at the other chassis and see the similarities to our cars.”

“Yeah, we need the big guys to showcase our cars on the tour, but we really need the Saturday night guys. Having these guys win weekly at their local tracks sells more cars than the top guys winning the series races. The best advertisement we can have is competitive Saturday night guys. Don’t misunderstand, the big guys have helped us get where we are today; the fact that whatever Brett Hearn, Tim Fuller, Craig Von Dohren and others have, anyone can have the exact same thing - the cars all come from the same jigs,” Bobby explained.

TEO receives an endless stream of Monday morning phone calls from drivers who dominated on Saturday nights. They also receive calls from those who got beat. “I try to help them out the best that I can,” Bobby says. “And if they bring the cars down here, I’ll scale them to make sure they aren’t missing anything. But usually, we can straighten them out over the phone. We have a strong following with strong drivers at each track, this has helped us to get a really good baseline set-up for each track. If the driver will work off that set-up, he will be competitive.”

TEO also now offers an annual chassis seminar entitled: Get Smart, Get Quick; where they try to help all drivers with topics ranging from chassis set-up, driving techniques, tire and car preparation, maintenance and sponsorship help. Anyone can benefit from this seminar from the novice to the advanced racer.

“Everyone is always searching for an answer, they want me to wave my magic wand and straighten out a car,” Bobby says. “Sometimes, that happens but, there is no perfect set-up. What works one night for one driver may not work the very next night for the same driver - let alone a completely different driver. Especially with the way the track surfaces are continually changing.”

So what is one word that can sum up TEO Fabrications and the TEO Pro Car? Bobby instantly offers up, “Consistent.”

For those racers demanding the best, the Teo ProCar Platinum is a completely assembled race car, less engine, tires and wheels, and features an uncompromising line of parts and fixtures from our world class suppliers as well as Teo ProMachine. The customer simply installs their power plant making final plumbing and electrical connections as required. Known as the leader in both innovative technology and quality, as well as safety, the Teo ProCar continues to be the benchmark by which others are measured. Our ProCar Platinum aims even higher in establishing superior performance and results throughout the Northeast Modified contingent of racers. Note that all of the components comprising the Platinum Edition can be supplied for customer assembly as well.

Also a fully assembled race car, the Teo ProCar Limited targets those racers on a more conservative budget while still delivering all the performance and integrity the Teo ProCar is known for without sacrificing any of our best of class innovation and quality. As with the Platinum Edition, the customer simply installs their power plant making final plumbing and electrical connections. Please review the accompanying table to compare features. Note that all of the components comprising the Platinum Edition can be supplied for customer assembly.

Featuring the same 2013 ProCar frame and body as the Platinum and Limited , the ProCar Basic Roller consists essentially of front suspension and rear suspension assembled as a rolling package. This establishes a basic, starting foundation for the ProCar whereby the racer can draw upon their inventory of parts to finalize completion or develop a timeline for completion more commensurate with available funding. As with the ProCar Platinum and Limited, all of the components comprising the Platinum Edition can be supplied for customer assembly.

The ProCar Conversion kit is designed for those racers who wish to move into a Teo ProCar program from another manufacturer. Included in the ProCar Conversion kit are our renowned 2013 Teo frame and body as well as all of those parts generally unique to the Teo ProCar. The suitability of the racers generic, aftermarket parts such as rear end, transmission, steering gear, etc., can then be determined. Naturally, Teo Fabrications can supply any of these parts as required. While the Conversion Kit is designed for customer assembly, the racer can provide all his aftermarket parts and the Teo staff will perform assembly at a reasonable cost. Please review the accompanying table to see precisely what’s included in the ProCar Conversion Kit.

Maintenence: All modular wheels require periodic inspection and maintence. At the beginning of each racing season, disassemble, thoroughly inspect, clean, re-seal, and re-torque each wheel. Maximum wheel bolt torque is 15ft/lbs or 180in/lbs.
