Photo voltaic cells are used to ca!ture the suns energ' thusgenerating electrical energ' for the various stations#
8hese !hotovoltaic cells have been arranged in line ith the!rimar' orbit of the sun about ,,,,#$ degrees from theest cc6
8he !anel are integrated ith d'namic truss to o!timi)e thegeneration of energ'
8he suns energ' is further used in the form of solar heatershich is used to generate all the hot ater in the guesthouse
8he thermal comfort levels are mainted b' the use of fillerslabs hich !rovides insulation beteen the inside and theoutside of the building#
=iller slabs are designed ith alternate !anel of concreteand hollo blocks*
8he holo blocks hel! in reducing the transimission of heatfrom outside to inside of the building#

AIR
Primar' ind direction along S
: long S fa;ade is a foul smelling drain
all toards south is blank alloing the bree)e to flo over thebuilding hich in turn creates negative !ressure and !ulls infresh air from the north#
South all is a double all so as to heat u! the void beteenthe to alls creating negative !ressure thereb' enhancingconvection currents
?entilation is enhanced b' the use of solar chimne's and vents
:llos bree)e to flo over building
&reates negative !ressure
Starts !ulling fresh air flo at bod' level to !rovide thermalcomfort
Hot air rises toards the to! on southern fa;ade

!entilation " analysis
8he !rimar' inds blo from the south to north over thenallah* hence the building needs to react to this if*the foul
unh'gienic air has to be !revented from entering the
building #
8hus the develo!ment of the south all as a !rime design
factor in achieving this !ur!ose#Here the south all has as treated as an inde!endent
s'stem linking the rear alls of the building over a cavit'
8his cavit' creates a negative !ressure setting u! the
convectional currents# 8he entire s'stems orks ver'
effectivel' in generating the desired reverse indcirculation#
8he blank all carries a s'stem of cuda!!a#8he colour
black as deliberatel' chosen because of its heat
absor!tive !oer hich is the highest among all colours#

@8he orking of the s'stem is ver'
sim!le
@8he sun(s ra's heat the black south all
increasing the tem!erature of theimmediate environment around#
@8his causes the air in the cavit' to rise
u!ards naturall'# 8hese convectional
currents are blon aa' b' the inds
bloing south to north#
@8his creates a vacuum at the at the to!
core structure# 8o fill this vacuum* air
from inside is dran u!#
@8his s'stem of hot air rising and draing
in of cool fresh air is a continuous
!rocess#

Hence reverse wind circulation is
established by bringing in the fresh air
from the north open face of the building,
and drawing it through the entiresection of the structure and removing it
by convectional means up through solar
wind vents.

8he central court houses an am!hitheatre

As thermal capacity of earth is high, daily and
annual temperature fluctuations !eep
decreasing with increasing depth of earth
At depth of "m below ground, temperature
remains constant and e#ual to annual averagetemperature
