Our calendar looks jam packed already so please make sure you read the newsletter and check the website and Facebook. It is great that so many parents are choosing to receive the newsletter electronically. It saves an enormous amount of paper and time. This is money we can then put into other resources. It also means that you can refer to previous issues to find dates etc. If you are still receiving a paper copy please consider if you really need the paper form and if not, think about changing to receiving it electronically. We wish Jay Adams good luck as he heads off to the State Cross Country in Sydney this week. On Friday we have three games of soccer at school with our boys playing Evans River at approx. 11.45 and our girls playing the winner of Evans River and Coraki at approx. 1.00 pm. Yesterday we had our staff development day. We completed further training in the “Seven Steps to Writing Success” program, problem solving and the use of Google Drive. Staff also developed their personal learning plans. The uniform shop is almost up and running, the school shirts will be in soon. In this cold weather, it would be appreciated if the students could wear blue jumpers, it doesn’t have to be the school one, just plain blue is fine. There will be a cake stall this Friday as part of the fundraising for our girls AFL team as they prepare to head off to Sydney. We will be having a sausage sizzle the following Friday. Don’t forget the P&C meeting this evening at 6.00 pm in the staffroom. Enjoy your week Debbie Woods Relieving Principal This Wednesday the canteen is selling POTATO & BACON The cost is $5 (soup comes with a slice of bread). WE WILL BE HOLDING A CAKE STALL AT SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY TO HELP RAISE MONEY FOR THE GIRLS AFL TEAM WHO WILL BE TRAVELLING TO SYDNEY TO COMPETE AT A STATE LEVEL ON AUGUST, 3RD.
