Book Week

Thank you to our families for supporting our book week activities. The parade was lots of fun and our book

fair was very busy. Our school has earned rewards through the book fair, which we have chosen to take in

books for our presentation night.

Father’s Day Breakfast and Stall

We had a lovely morning with our favourite blokes today. The P&C generously provided breakfast and organ-

ised a Father’s Day stall and our students loved spending time with the males in their lives. We wish you all a

Happy Father’s Day on Sunday.

Life Education (Healthy Harold)

The Life Education van (often known as Healthy Harold) will visit next Thursday and Friday. This is an excel-

lent program which covers age appropriate health and safety behaviour. Notes went home to all students and

should be returned as soon as possible.

Stage 3 Science and Engineering Day

Our stage 3 students are off to Dungog High School next Friday to participate in a Science and Engineering

Day. This is a very high quality event that is offered at no cost to our students, they just need to cover the

cost of the bus $7. Please remember to have your child at school on time as the bus leaves at 9am.

Benhome Choir Visit

On Tuesday our choir will perform at Benhome. Please find transport note sent home with your child today.

Premier’s Spelling Bee

Next Wednesday, four of our students will compete in the Premier’s Spelling Bee Regional Final at Tenambit

Public School. We wish Eli, Nic, Shelby and Cameron all the best for the competition.

Uniform Policy

Don’t forget to send in your feedback on the Uniform Policy which came home with the newsletter last week.

If you did not receive a copy, feel free to call or drop in to the office to pick one up. The final draft of the

policy will be presented at the next P&C meeting on Monday, 16th September for implementation in term 4.

Please note, the current school uniform includes either school jacket or navy jumper or jacket (no other col-

ours or piping on the jumper/jacket and no advertising/writing) and black school shoes (minimal colouring on

the shoes only, for example white piping around the sole). Shoes may be made of any material, but must be

black and enclosed.
