The infants children performed a lovely rendition of Knock, Knock, Knock and Away in a Manger and the night came to a close with the senior students also performing two musical items. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the speeches from Hunter Hollis and Sam Chappell, Inverell Public School public speaking award recipients. Congratulations to Phoebe MacLachlan who is DUX of Inverell Public School for 2013. A special thank you to the community, business houses and organisations for their kind donations for the
prizes presented at Presentation Night. Congratulations to all the students who received an award on this very special night.

PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
As we come to the end of the 2013 school year I would like to congratulate our students
and staff on another very successful year of teaching and learning. Our students have all
been given opportunity to be challenged, achieve success and feel valued in our school.
Through the Positive Behaviour for Learning program we have highlighted the values of Cooperate,
Achieve, Respect, Excel — Inverell Public School CARES about learning and welfare. Our students are
actively using these values to manage themselves and contribute to the Inverell Public School team.
As this program continues to grow in 2014 I am sure that consistent achievements across academic
sporting social and community areas will be in evidence.
I would like to thank our teachers for their work. They are dedicated and enthusiastic about their
student’s learning. They take pride in their profession and responsibility for ensuring that our school
is a wonderful example of a holistic educational entity. We will have a few changes to our staffing in
2014. Mrs Baxter will be taking leave in 2014, Mr Robinson has decided to pursue projects outside
teaching and he and Mrs Robinson will be working in our school on a casual basis. Thank you to our
office, classroom support staff and groundsman. It takes many hands to keep the school ticking and
Inverell Public School could not operate with out you.
Best wishes to our students for a safe and happy holiday. It is a pleasure and a privilege to work with
you. I wish you all a fun and relaxing Christmas break and look forward to the new school year.
Robyn Stewart
Principal
