Terms & Conditions The competition will run on an annual basis. One prize will be awarded each year for the best paper published in the journal for a given volume. The winner will receive US$500 and the article will be promoted via the journal homepage. There will be an honorable mention for the second place paper, and a prize of US$300. A short list of five papers from each volume will be selected in consultation with the Managing Editor and the Associate Managing Editor. The chosen articles will be sent to five members of the Police Practice & Research editorial board from which the first and second place papers will be selected. Police Practice & Research is a peer-reviewed journal that presents current and innovative police research as well as operational and administrative practices from around the world. Articles and reports are sought from practitioners, researchers and others interested in developments in policing, analysis of public order, and the state of safety as it affects the quality of life everywhere. www.tandf.co.uk/journals/policepracticeresearch
