Information Terms of Reference Members
Student Conference Award
1. Student conference awards are available for registered postgraduate students to attend the annual conference and present a paper.
2. The Subcommittee shall receive submissions, judge them, and administer the awards.
3. The rules and procedures are announced in a timely issue of the Newsletter and on the ISCB annual conference webpage.

The Subcommittee meeting was held on Wednesday, 26 August, following the last scientific session of the day, in Munich, Germany during the 2013 Annual Conference.
Nadine Binder organised an informal meeting for young scientists at Tuesday evening which was a big success (Young Researcher Get Together).

For the 2014 Annual Conference all members participated in the evaluation and selection process.
We received 26 SCA applications: 7 applicants from the United Kindom, 5 applicants from Belgium, 3 applicants from the Netherlands, 3 applicants from Greece, 2 applicants from Germany, 1 applicant from Australia, 1 applicant from Iran, 1 applicant from Israel, 1 applicant from Italy, 1 applicant from France , 1 applicant from Sweden.
