VESPISTI TERRACINESI“Vespa Club Terracina”

L’associazione Vespisti Terracinesinasce nell’agosto del 2006 dalla pas-sione e l’amore per il mito VESPA.

La voglia, che da sempre ci ha spintoa cercare di fare qualcosa nella nostrastupenda città, ci ha finalmente por-tato alla creazione di questa Associ-azione.

Punteremo inoltre allo sviluppo nellanostra zona del mito Vespa e ad orga-nizzare sempre più raduni, in modotale da poter saldare la nostra pas-sione con quella dei nostri amici.

Negli anni, i Vespisti Terracinesisviluppano una passione così forte dapercorrere chilometri in giro per l’I-talia con i propri scooter d’epoca,tracciandola da Sud a Nord, per es-sere presenti ai più importanti appun-tamenti nazionali.

Finalmente, dopo anni in giro per l’I-talia nasce, nella primavera del 2007,il “Riviera d’Ulisse in Vespa”, appun-tamento ufficiale terracinese cheriscuote presto grande successo, conla presenza di tutta la compaginevespista del centro Italia, giungendo,negli anni successivi, ad avere pre-senze da tutta l’Italia.Il raduno terracinese, a differenza dialtri italiani, è sempre stato apertonon solo alla Vespa, ma alla suastretta cugina, la Lambretta: caratter-istica, questa, peculiare dei nostriraduni.

Negli anni successivi, alcuni elementifondanti dei Vespisti Terracinesi siavvicinano sempre più alle culture epassioni degli anni ‘60 - ‘70, cos-tituendo un nuovo gruppo chiamatoTerracina Blood Fish Modernists, cherealizza, nella stagione estiva, il “Ter-racina Mod Weekender”, in collabo-razione con alcuni amici di Roma delGET SMART ROMA.

Un raduno quindi, inizialmente costi-tuito di 2 giorni e caratterizzato dallaforte corrente anni ‘60 e dall’amoreper la musica e per uno dei grandiprodotti del genio italiano: LA VESPA.Raduno fatto di selezioni musicali diDj: più giusto chiamarli però selezion-atori di vinili o, ancora meglio,collezionisti, per la rarità dei dischi



suonati. Dj provenienti da tutta Eu-ropa e concerti di band dal vivo.

Evento di certificata importanza inter-nazionale, grazie al quale la pro-mozione della città di Terracina e delsuo territorio ha acquisito risonanzaeuropea tanto da portare il raduno da2 giorni a 4 giorni. Un successo senzaprecedenti, con la partecipazione,negli anni, di numerose figure

storiche della musica: nel 2011, ad es-empio, la voce Soul degli anni ‘60HERBIE GOINS, presenza rinnovatanelle edizioni successive.

Considerati i grandi sforzi organizza-tivi, i Vespisti Terracinesi e i ModsBlood Fish Modernists decidono diunire le forze per fondere, in un’unicadata e con l’aiuto della propria città,le due concezioni di raduno nel “Ter-racina - ANXUR SCOOTER FESTI-VAL”.

Nick Pride and the Pimptones sono una funk / jazz /soul band con base a Newcastle upon Tyne.Si sono formati nel 2007 come progetto del chitar-rista, compositore e arrangiatore Nick Pride.Nel 2009 il gruppo ha realizzato il singolo "DeeperPimp" su Wack Records, molto passato in radio in Eu-ropa, incluso il Craig Charles Funk e Soul Show suBBC 6.Il 2011 ha visto l’uscita del singolo Waitin’ So Long”con Jess Roberts, e più tardi l’album “Midnight Feastof Jazz” con ospiti quali Jess Roberts, Susan Hamil-ton e Zoe Gilby, entrambe sull’etichetta milaneseRecord Kicks.L’album ha avuto recensioni del tipo”un forte debuttocon il quale si pù ballare o semplicemente sedersi eapprezzare il groove”, “un’esplosione di energia e en-tusiasmo musicale”.

Per quanto riguarda Jess Roberts, come può unaragazza bianca proveniente dal Sunderland cantarecon così forte emozione? La risposta è il Soul. Soulcome emozione appunto; qualcosa che non si può im-parare ma che viene dal cuore.

Nick Pride and the Pimptones are a funk / jazz / soulband based in Newcastle upon Tyne.The Pimptones were formed in 2007 as a project forguitarist, composer and arranger Nick Pride.Their record label Record Kicks describes them as "adeep funk / jazz-dance outfit playing original materialin the style of The Meters, JTQ and Charlie Hunter.The group is equally at home in a noisy nightclub orintimate jazz setting, and is most likely to bring theroof of either down with their heavy dancefloorgrooves, big breaks and sophisticated jazz numbers".In 2009 the band released the 7” single "DeeperPimp" on Wack Records, which went on to enjoy ex-tended radioplay across Europe including the Craig

Unica Band locale del terracina Scooter Festival chespera possa rappresentare al meglio le attitudini attualidella propria città.In origine il nome della band era Tr4, nascono nel 2000con la medesima formazione di oggi, negli anni sonostati cambiati diversi componenti e generi musicali mamai è cambiata la volontà di riunire la vecchia band e ri-tornare in scena con nuove sonorità e passioni. Sitraformano oggi in F.A.I.T. - Four Aliens in Town.Il loro attuale repertorio fatto di cover indie rock riportasulla scena canzoni dei Razorlight - Arctic Monkeys -Kooks - Bloc Party - The Hoosiers - The Racconteurs maben presto presenteranno al pubblico qualche lorocreazione.

The only local band of Terracina Scooter festival thathopes to show in the best way the current attitudesof its own city. Originally, the name of the band wasTr4, they were born in 2000 with the same roosterof today. Some members have been changed in thepast years, just like musical kinds, but the will togather the old band and to get back to the scene withnew sonorities and passions never changed. Today,they turn into F.A.I.T. - Four Aliens In Town. Theircurrent repertoire, made of indi rock covers, takeback to the scene songs from Razorlight, Artic Mon-keys, Kooks, Bloc Party, The Hoosiers, The Raccon-teurs but very soon, they will give to the audiencesome their own creations.
