TERRAS COMMUNICATIONS is a personalised

sports & retail marketing and communications

solutions agency that creates front-line brands

through exclusive, creative and practical

implementation and all inclusive brand management.

We invent dynamic and exclusive brand

experiences, creating a new platform for consumers,

retailers and businesses to interact with brands,

products or services. As a through-the-line services

agency, we focus on driving sales, retention and

building brand equity.

OUR TEAM

TERRAS COMMUNICATIONS is powered by

LAUREN TERRAS who is a through-the-line concept

specialist. She successfully and effortlessly merges

above- and below-the-line efforts to create amplified

exposure and media mileage.

Lauren started her career in the film and stills industry

as a producer and stylist and later moved onto Coca

Cola to explore her passion for branding.

This moved her into print media working for companies

such as Touchline Media, Media 24, Media Nova and

AVUSA before starting GoActive8 in 2008 (rebranded

to Terras Communications in 2014). Her passion for

sports, good design, food , music and luxury brands

lead her to focus on this niche yet vibrant market.

Offering a wealth of creative firepower and digital

expertise, ELISHA BHOLANATH has worked on the

PR and Communications for corporates, agencies and

talent that range from music festivals, international

premieres to world recognized sport events for the past

9 years.

From entertainment and lifestyle PR, digital marketing,

talent management to corporate communications, her

corporate ethos is one of consistency of service

excellence.

From working at media powerhouses such as AVUSA,

and Primedia Broadcasting to SAB Miller, she carries

the vision of an entrepreneurial drive in the creative

sphere, which goes beyond the common and

accepted, to a world of communication catalysts and

digital trend setters.

NADINE ARENDSE is part of our Retail and

Technology PR team. Having worked as a journalist

and PR person, she has found her passion and knows

that PR is where her career will remain. She has

written for both online and print mediums and loves

technology.

Nadine has worked on some award winning PR

projects with the highlight of her career being a

nomination for a new product/service in the PRISM

awards in 2013. She has written for a wide variety of

industries including telecommunications, banking,

décor, DIY and entertainment and has worked on some

major South African exhibitions.

Nadine’s communication extends to new media

platforms as well where she managed and created

content for various social media platforms.

STRATEGIC PARTNERS

CECILIA STEENBERG started her career in 2003 as

a FMCG Brand and Consumer Marketer working with

premium brands such as British American Tobacco,

Absolut Vodka, Moët & Chandon, Dom Perignon and

Jack Daniels to name a few.

In 2012 she joined Octagon Marketing, the World's

Largest Sponsorship Consulting Agency, as the Senior

Manager of Sponsorship Accounts. Clients included

Toyota (Toyota Cheetahs) and Standard Bank (Africa

Cup of Nations). Her work on those accounts received

three Sport Industry Award Nominations during 2012 &

2013.

Cecilia then relocated to New Zealand to work with

global insurance giant AIG – the “front-of-jersey”

sponsor of the All Blacks and NZRU. Employed by

Essentially NZ she managed the rights delivery of

AIG's sponsorship and activated their brand.

VICTORIA JACKSON is an award winning events

logistics manager and creative stylist.

Having worked in the industry for over 10 years, all her

events are designed and uniquely tailored with

innovation and style to become a once in a life time,

unforgettable and original experience.

With an outstanding track record of clients, Victoria

caters for all event and wedding needs from concept to

implementation.

Clients include Hugo Boss International, Porsche,

International Cape Town Fashion Week Official After

Party, GovTec, Oil Week, Mining Indaba and Investec

to name a few.

BODO SIEBER is the digital creative lead with a

passion for sport, rugby, brands and people.

Having worked on internet start ups and

publications in Ireland and Berlin, he has been at

the helm of a Cape Town / JHB based digital

agency for 8 successful years.

Together with an experienced team he delivers

digital experiences that work - including

websites, apps, mobile sites, facebook apps,

social media strategy and digital campaigns.
