I was born and raised in Bridgeport. So,

when I heard that the Shintaro Akatsu

School of Design offered such a great

graphic design program, coming here was

quite an easy decision.

SASD has a number of connected pro-

fessors who want to bring out the best in

their students. The classes are small which

allows for more one-on-one time with

professors.

In early 2015, I won the graphic design

portfolio scholarship from the Connecti-

cut Art Director’s Club. One of my previous

professors offered me an intership at his

emerging agency in Westport, CT. I have

been interning there for almost two years,

and I was recently offered a full-time posi-

tion as a Web Designer.

Just remember that nothing comes easy; if

you put in the work, you will be happy with

the results.
