Winch-Bot: Underactuated Pendulum
Funded by the Boeing Corporation to further their flexible manufacturing system Designed in Solidworks and prototyped with 3D printed ABS and laser-cut acrylic Optical angle sensor utilizes 40 MHz FPGA to optically measure angle of string String length controlled with a high-precision servoed DC motor System controlled in Labview using the NI cRIO-9074 Master’s Thesis work, two conference papers and a forthcoming journal article
