Joomla Content Management System (CMS)

Overview

A Web Content Management System is software, implemented as a Web application, for

creating and managing content. A WCMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing,

and essential Web maintenance functions. They are typically run by a database.

The software provides authoring (and other) tools designed to allow users with little knowledge

of programming languages to create and manage content with relative ease.

Content is managed from a Web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox recommended).

Unlike Web-site builders, a WCMS allows non-technical users to make changes to a website

with little training. A WCMS typically requires an experienced coder to set up and add features,

but is primarily a Web-site maintenance tool for non-technical administrators.

Training

As the designer I will be explaining how to manage the web site from the control panel i.e. add

content, grant permissions to different authors etc.

Setup cost and delivery time

A one-time setup cost of JA $50,000 will be required. This includes the cost to implement the

CMS and provide training.

The CMS will be completed within 2-3 weeks.
