The Jonathan House Ministries Equipping the Captives to Become Warriors
The Jonathan House is an equipping ministry
specializing in Kingdom Warfare. Kingdom
Warfare is much more than a new name for
spiritual warfare; it’s learning how to actively
engage the Kingdom of Heaven in every area of
your life. The end goal of Kingdom Warfare is
for the kingdoms of this world to become the
Kingdoms of our God. In order to fulfill your
mandate for dominion, you must first under-
stand who you are and what is available to you.
The Jonathan House Ministries focuses on
equipping, training, and teaching the Body of
Christ how to engage the Kingdom of God on a
personal level. We specialize in ministering
healing, deliverance, and inner healing to those
in need.
on Jonathan’s body and he gradually began
losing motor skills. As time passed, the
hope of Jonathan being able to live as a nor-
mal person grew dim.
From time to time the seizure activity would
become so severe Jonathan would have to
be hospitalized and totally sedated in order
for his brain to rest. These hospitalizations
occurred several times and after a few days
of being sedated the seizure activity would
subside to a more manageable level.
One year right before Christmas, Jonathan
had another episode of in-
creased seizure activity which
warranted another hospitaliza-
tion. This time the medica-
tions that had been helpful in
prior treatments were not hav-
ing any effect on Jonathan’s
condition. During this time,
Bob and Betty’s home church
had begun to fast and pray for
Jonathan’s recovery. Then,
while in the hospital elevator,
unconscious, in route to a
brain scan, something supernatural hap-
pened. In the presence of his mother and
grandmother, Jonathan let out two blood cur-
dling screams that left the hairs on their arms
standing on end. “What in the world was that
?” inquired his stunned mother. “I really
don't know; but it was not from this world!”
was Betty’s reply. Betty was more accurate
in her appraisal than she realized. Moments
later the brain scan showed a fully functional
brain! After spending the night in observa-
tion, Jonathan awoke the next morning able
to respond to the balloons at the end of his
The Start of The Jonathan House
The Jonathan House has a very unique story in
the way the Lord brought this
ministry into existence. When
Jonathan Hawley, Bob and
Betty’s grandson, was two
years old he was diagnosed
with epilepsy. Jonathan was a
normal child until one day he
started having seizures. He
was eventually diagnosed with
having the three worst kinds
of seizures. This condition left
Jonathan with the need to
have constant around-the-clock supervision and
he was forced to wear a helmet to protect his
head from the many falls induced by these sei-
zures. Jonathan took as many as 17 pills a day in
an attempt to help control the seizure activity.
Over the next few years the seizures took a toll
bed, feed himself and interact with his family.
From that day on, Jonathan has not had one sei-
zure! Slowing weaning off his medications and
engaging in physical therapy, he has been able to
rebuild his life.
Today Jonathan is a
normal young man,
married, with a fam-
ily. Jonathan mani-
fested a demonic
stronghold that hid
behind a cover of
e p i l e p s y . G o d
worked miraculously
through the prayers
of His saints to de-
liver Jonathan from
the physical and
spiritual infirmities
that the enemy had placed upon him. Jonathan’s
supernatural healing and deliverance was the
catalyst that started the journey for Bob and
Betty Walker over 25 years ago. After moving
to Texas, Bob and Betty attended a church that
was actively teaching deep healing and deliver-
ance which prepared them for what lay ahead.
Looking to retire and be closer to family Bob
and Betty moved to Rochester, Minnesota in
2001. In the spring of 2002, the Lord directed
Bob and Betty to found The Jonathan House
Ministries.
Several years ago the Lord prompted Betty to
write a book detailing many of the events that
the Lord used to start The Jonathan House Min-
istries; the name of the book is Trust Me, Child
and can be purchased from Amazon.com or from
the ministry.
