TEXAS KICKS OFF THE CALIFORNIA GAY. RODEO

The Texas Kickoff Party for the 2nd Annual California Gay Rodeo at Austin's Alternative, March 16, turned out to be a huge success.

Our poor old goats, Blackie and Brownie, were·on hand for the goat dressing contest which was won by Laura and Glen.

Teresa and Cheryl won the wild (weird) cow milking contest, while David and Laura won the premier game, tricycle barrel racing.

The burgers were great--thank you Sunny and Ray! _ .

Get ready for the next kickoff party which will be in May for the Rocky Mountain Regional Gay Rodeo! ~

The door opened . slowly, and the long white limo rolled onto Snuffy's daace floor. Everyone waited with eager antici­pation as the car came to a stop. The crowd gasped as a simple black pump emerged. The pump was followed by clean-shaven Bubbles LaRue (complete with platinum hair). It was only the beginning of the

& Miss TGRA benefit show, Sunday

Damon, Joyce, and Sunny put on a wonder­ful show with the help of their guests from San Antonio.

A large energetic crowd was on hand to enjoy the show. Proceeds went to the Waterloo Counseling Center. ~

candidates for Mr., Ms., & Miss TGRA, Damon, Joyce, and Sunny, will travel to Fort Woith. They will present a fundraiser for Mid Cities MCC, Fort Worth/Arlington.

The show will be hel d at The Other Place, 200 N. Vacek, _ Fort Worth (335-1901). MCs for the evening-will be Linda Dale (Mouth of the South) and Empress I of Fort Horth. There will also be a special guest appearance by The Texas Sidekicks.
