Text 34-35

Process of accepting a Guru.The science of Absolute Truth.

tad viddhi praëipätenaparipraçnena sevayäupadekñyanti te jïänaàjïäninas tattva-darçinaù

Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.

1. Path of Self Realization is very difficult.

2. No one can be a bona fide spiritual master without following this principle of disciplic succession.

3. No one can be spiritually realized by manufacturing his own process.

4. Thus one must approach a Guru.

Once understood that Guru is bonafide, no reservation in accepting knowldege. This is not blind following.

Not only should one hear submissively from the spiritual master, but one must also get a clear understanding from him, in submission and service and inquiries.

yaj jïätvä na punar moham

evaà yäsyasi päëòavayena bhütäny açeñäëi

drakñyasy ätmany atho mayi

Having obtained real knowledge from a self-realized soul, you will never fall again into such illusion, for by this knowledge you will see that all living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other words, that they are Mine.

One learns the complete science of Absolute truth from bonafide spiritual master.Complete science means to understand all living beings as part of Supreme.Mayavada theory incomplete or improper understanding.

oà pürëam adaù pürëam idaàpürëät pürëam udacyatepürëasya pürëam ädäya

pürëam evävaçiñyate

The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.

1. A living being, as Kåñëa's eternal servitor, cannot be separated from Kåñëa, and his sense of being an identity apart from Kåñëa is called mäyä.

2. Perfect knowledge is that the Supreme Soul, Kåñëa, is the supreme shelter for all living entities, and giving up such shelter, the living entities are deluded by the material energy, imagining themselves to have a separate identity.

3.muktir hitvänyathä-rüpaà svarüpeëa vyavasthitiù. Liberation means to be situated in one's constitutional position as an eternal servitor of Kåñëa (Kåñëa consciousness).
