Walking dead

Editing here we can see that the makers have used very dark colours in the title we also see that they have used a closed frame looking through a window we can also see throughout the shot that where ever we are it is very old/run down. We see the cream font is displayed on a darker part of the picture this is done to make the words stand out more from the rest of the photo.

Editing pg.2Here and through the sequence we see one of many everyday sights but with everything laid to waste and this gives the audience a sense of loneliness as most of these places would normally be filled with people where as now all we can see is a desolate ruin of what once was.

NarrativeHere in this shot we see a man in a photo with the glass smashed as his face is in the main titles this clearly shows us the audience that he is going to be a main character throughout the story. We also see that the characters are shown in different ways such as picture frames hung up or on the floor and newspapers this is only for the three main characters but this shows us their importance and not just that but is also shows us in order.

Narrative pg.2In this shot we see a supermarket which usually would be bustling with people and nice and clean in ruin with no people to be seen food spilled on the floor boxes lying about this gives the audience an idea of the world they about to see and how it is a mere shadow of what it once was where every day life has gone to tatters. This also gives the audience a sense of loneliness due to the emptiness of this normally busy place.

RepresentationHere we see a normally busy street in an American city centre laid in ruin with buses and cars simply left by the road side and rubbish laid all-over the road with road blocks in the distance this gives the audience a sense of isolation being shown a place they know as busy as literally dead and decaying. They have also used dark colours like grey and black and even the yellows have been toned down this shows a huge lack of life and any normality to the place we are seeing we see an armoured can in the corner of the picture this shows a possible state of emergency before everyone left/disapeared.
