TFlex®
Flexible Alternative toSemirigid Coax forMilitary and CommercialApplications including,Low Loss Microwave andWireless Base StationInterconnects.
Developed over ten years ago as a lighter weight, exible alternative to semirigid coax, TFlex® has beenwidely adopted for both military and commercial communication systems. Its Teon FEP jacket providesexcellent protection in corrosive environments and its exible nature eliminates the need for hand or precision machine bending. Following the most convenient routing, TFlex® can be preterminated to its desired length and can then be just “plugged in”.
Features & Benets:• Meets all MIL-C-17 Requirements
• Excellent Shielding Eectiveness
• Low Passive Intermod (PIM)
• Stable Loss, Phase and VSWR vs. Flexing
• Uses Standard Solder-on Semirigid Connectors

ConstructionCenter Conductor: Solid Silver- Plated Copper
Dielectric: Solid PTFE
Inner Shield: Silver-Plated Copper Flat Ribbon Tape
Outer Shield: Silver-plated Copper Braid
Jacket: Blue Teon FEP
BenefitsThe use of a silver plated outer conductorRF path minimizes the potential for intermod-ulation distortion. In addition to its electrical benets, TFlex enables designersand installers to make simple “plug-in” cableruns without the need for complex 3D bendcongurations required for semirigid coax.
ConnectorsUse standard solder on connectors for semi-rigid cable. TFlex cables can be purchased in bulk reels or as preterminated and testedcable assemblies.
