Utilize regional strategy to achieve sustainable growth Toyota Financial Services Corporation (TFS), wholly owned by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), was established in July 2000 as a holding company of Toyota’s financial subsidiaries, which offer financial products and services to support vehicle sales. Our mission is to “Provide sound financial services that contribute to a prosperous life for Toyota customers and others” as we support our customers’ life events. To meet the financing needs of our customers, we have expanded our global presence to cover over 30 countries across multiple regions. We now serve over 15 million customers.

The US sub-prime crisis in 2007 and the Lehman Brothers shock in late 2008, triggered a global financial crisis that resulted in a serious economic downturn. Subsequently there has been slow recovery due to economic stimulating measures by each government and central bank, as well as the effort of private sectors. Recently, however, new threats have emerged, such as Greece issue, and stricter financial regulation in America and Europe. The current business environment can be described as “unusually uncertain” stated by Mr. Ben Bernanke, chairman of the FRB.

In light of these factors there has been an unexpectedly rapid return to profitability in the global auto industry due to new car sales incentives and cost reduction efforts within the industry. However, the recovery in new car sales is threatened by the cessation of government support measures and the economic recovery slowdown. Competition has increased in emerging markets, such as China and India, as sales of small cars have increased substantially and companies within the auto industry have formed new alliances.

The TFS Group has continued to implement strategic funding, risk management, and internal controls to mitigate business risk. We have also sought to meet our customers’ needs for dependable financial services with the slogan “Strengthen relationship with TMC distributors and Toyota and Lexus dealers and create the best regional strategy to increase profit”. Currently the TFS Group manages 13 trillion yen of assets and made a record profit last year due to the impact of historically low interest rates worldwide and strong used-car prices. We will continue to steer through the uncertain business environment, switching from defense to offence as market conditions allow.

The TFS Group is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. We will continue to pursue customer satisfaction through our financial subsidiaries and partnerships with TMC, distributors and Toyota and Lexus dealers worldwide, and also continue to build on our experiences gained over the last 10 years.

As we move ahead I look forward to your continuing support and cooperation.

Thank you.

The Americas Region“In the Americas Region, our focus has remained on delivering consistent support for our distributor partners, dealers and customers. As other financial services providers have entered and exited auto lending, Toyota Financial Services remains dedicated to supporting Toyota vehicle sales. We are proud to provide outstanding experiences for our customers, dealers and distributors through our core product offerings, like retail and lease contracts. In addition, we offer a variety of products and services designed specifically for each country’s unique needs in the Region. Contributing to the success of our distributors, dealers and customers is always at the forefront of our business strategy.”

George E. BorstPresident, Americas Region

Toyota Financial Services CorporationMarkets At A Glance* We have more than 3,600 associates dedicated to serving over 4.7 million customers, 2,000 dealers and 2,000 wholesale accounts. Combined, the Americas Region has more than US$96 billion in managed assets. With sales finance companies in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Venezuela, we remain dedicated to taking action on the unique market challenges and opportunities in our business.

Unique Products & Services We are proud to offer unique financial products and services to our customers and dealers, whose satisfaction is the ultimate achievement. Some examples of our unique product offering include the Lexus Pursuits Visa® and Toyota Rewards Visa® Credit Cards in the United States and the Secured Loan in Brazil.

Secured Loan(Brazil)

Banco Toyota do Brazil (BTB) offers secured loans to customers using their Toyotas as collateral. In this process dealers inspect the vehicles prior to funding of the loan, giving them the opportunity to continue their relationship with the customer. Customers are delighted to obtain a loan with an interest rate lower than most banks and credit card companies. And, BTB maintains a relationship with the customer during this interim period before the customer’s next vehicle purchase.

Commercial Finance (United States)

TFS Commercial Finance (CF) provides financial solutions supporting Toyota Material Handling, USA (TMHU), the world leader in material handling equipment such as forklifts. CF finances specialized equipment, such as scissor lifts that are heavily used in the commercial construction industry. CF supports our commercial customers by financing warehouse equipment such as floor sweepers and scrubbers, shelving and rack systems, and robotic conveyer systems. In addition, CF provides financing for Hino Motor Sales, USA, a respected medium duty commercial truck manufacturer.

Lexus Pursuits Visa® and Toyota Rewards Visa® Credit Cards (United States)

The Lexus Pursuits Visa® Credit Card, introduced in 2005 by Lexus Financial Savings Bank, offers one of the richest rewards programs in the industry, providing the high-quality service and care that Lexus customers have come to expect.

The Toyota Rewards Visa® Credit Card, issued by Toyota Financial Savings Bank in 2008, offers Toyota customers a similar product to earn points that can be applied toward the purchase of parts, accessories, service and new vehicle purchases and leases. Both cards serve as direct consumer products in the United States in which interested individuals can apply at the dealership, through direct mail or via the Web.

The Europe Africa RegionDuring this time of uncertainty in the global economy, TFS must demonstrate strong and clear leadership. Certainly we need to pay close attention to risk management policies and cost base reduction during the coming year, however, this difficult economic climate should not distract TFS from its strategic direction. Our priorities are threefold. Firstly, to focus on our core business by continuing to support TMC vehicle sales, by providing a range of branded Contract Purchase and Leasing products to Toyota customers. These products not only act as a sales enabler for Toyota and Lexus, but also allow effective management of the customer purchase cycle. This leads to the second element of our business strategy, which is to enhance our customer relationship management capability. Increasing our customer retention levels and cross-selling additional products is an area where we must strive to improve. Finally, the third component of our business strategy is the development of an internet based direct consumer channel aimed at reaching customers earlier in their purchase decision making process. This will not only provide us with additional financing opportunities, but also equip TFS with a unique and powerful proposition. By supplying new, pre-approved customers to the Toyota and Lexus dealer networks, TFS will provide a value-add that no independent financier can match.

Toyota Financial Services

After Sales KeyforKey (Poland)

Launched as a joint initiative between Toyota Poland and TFS, this is an excellent example of how co-operation between a Distributor, TFS and Dealers can have a positive effect on the business for all stakeholders.

Focusing on the potential sales opportunities provided through the after sales department, service and body shop customers are provided with a personalised KeyforKey renewal offer to trade in their current Toyota for a new model. The difference between their used and new car is funded via TFS with an attractive finance offer by Toyota Poland, Dealers and TFS jointly.

Triple Tranquilidad Toyota (Spain)

With the launch in Spain of Triple Tranquilidad Toyota, the Distributor, TFS and AIOI delivered a class leading customer proposition. The combined offer was so popular that Toyota sales significantly outperformed the market in 2009.

“TTT” is based on a 3 year Balloon Finance product that also combines 3 years car insurance, maintenance and personal unemployment coverrage. New from 2010, an extended 5 year warranty is also now included!

Initially designed as a tactical campaign, ‘TTT’ is now a key long term strategic element of the business in Spain, having been integrated into both sales process and customer renewals training.

TFS Subscription (Sweden)

Subscription is a unique internet lead product that has proved to be very successful in Sweden.

The product is a comprehensive personal leasing plan including motor insurance and maintenance. Customers can ‘subscribe’ to the offer directly on-line via an integrated Toyota, TFS website on which they build their own car, calculate a ‘monthly subscription rate’, and then complete their order.

This pioneering approach by TFS meets a real demand from younger, internet savvy customers and during 2009 resulted in almost 1 in 5 of all Toyota iQs being purchased in this manner.

“Launch advertising for our new city car, the iQ, focuses on affordability rather than price. TFS must therefore provide strong residual value based products enabling customers to use an iQ for a fixed monthly amount. We must then channel used cars through our Dealers, leveraging these products as a tool for generating re-marketing opportunities.”

The Asia Pacific Region“The Asia Pacific Region is the most diverse region within Toyota Financial Services and the fastest growing. It includes the oldest TFS subsidiary established in Australia in 1982, as well as developing sales finance companies in China, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam. Expanding Toyota Sales throughout the region has led to a high growth of assets for the past five years and we are also expected to grow continuously in the future. We also offer a customer driven range of motor vehicle financing products to our diverse customer base. Unique offerings in specific markets range from fleet management in Australia to retail balloon financing in Thailand. While the Asia Pacific Region is indeed diverse, our associates are all focused on being No.1 in customer satisfaction through building strong relationships with our customers, dealers, and distributors.” Eiji Hirano

President, Asia Pacific RegionToyota Financial Services CorporationMarkets At A Glance*

The Asia Pacific Region is made up of ten sales finance companies in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, China, Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam. Our more than 2,900 associates are dedicated to serving over 900,000 customers and a distribution network of more than 1,500 dealers with 690 wholesale accounts. The Asia Pacific Region has grown to nearly US$15 billion in managed assets.

Unique Products & Services The Asia Pacific region is proud to offer unique financial services to our customers and dealers. Listed below are initiatives undertaken within the region:

Fleet Management(Australia)

As one of the industries fastest growing fleet organizations in Australia, Toyota Fleet Management provides a full suite of finance and lease products. Fleet management services allow businesses and their employees a peace of mind through reliable vehicle registration, comprehensive 24-hour roadside assistance, and accident management program. By outsourcing fleet administration, companies can focus resources back on their core business.

SABUY:D (Thailand)

v

Toyota Leasing Thailand worked in close collaboration with their distributor, dealers, and customer focus groups to develop “SABUY :D”, a retail balloon payment product “SABUY :D” means “comfort” in Thai which includes low monthly payments with extended contract terms, and multiple-options at contract expiration to meet customer needs.

Business Expansion(China)

TMFCN was established in 2005 and is now expanding the area of operations covering about 60% of TMC sales. TMFCN supports Toyota and Lexus sales in collaboration with three distributors (2 Toyota and 1 Lexus) by providing quality services and products to retail customers. Unique products have been developed to introduce vehicle financing to customers more accustomed to paying cash for large purchases. TMFCN also supports Toyota & Lexus dealers in China through their wholesale financing. While China became top automobile market, TFS has significant opportunities for future growth of its financial services operations.

“We are truly satisfied with TCAPM’s continued effort in supporting our business and our customers through their innovative products. The friendly associates of TCAPM have treated usremarkably and created a very comfortable working atmosphere”

It is our loyal customers, dealers and partners and their strong support for TFS that has enabled us to grow beyond

our expectations. In just ten-year period, we’ve seen continuous growth numbers of our customers, and in spite of

unfavorable circumstances after the US sub-prime shock followed by the Lehman Brothers shock in 2008, we now

take steady profitability back and keep size of our asset. The results are shown as below.
