Week 1 Monday 9th December 

 

THE PAINT

STUDIO !!! Welcome to Summer Vacation 

Care for 2019/2020! Another year over and we are ready to enjoy 

the summer break!    

Today the children will be inspired to create their own 

masterpieces, just like Picasso! There will be cartoon drawing 

activities, painting, and sculpture art with sustainable materials. 

 

Tuesday 10th December 

Excursion 

MOVIE DAY We’re off to the Movies!

Today we will be heading down to Semaphore, where we will have recess at the

playground before walking to Odeon Star Cinema to watch

the latest movie.

Please be at school by 9am.

Bring along $6 on the day for a drink and food deal. 

 

Wednesday 11th December Children’s Choice 

STEAM DAY

 The children have been enjoying our construction activities during after school care, so we decided to dedicate a whole day to it! Today the children will have the opportunity to create, make and 

construct mini tree houses, marble runs, Lego Beyblades and 

anything else they desire! They will be using lots of sustainable resources!

SKIRMISH

Today we will be going to Goodwood bowl to have some fun at the bowling

alley as well as the laser tag arena. Remember to bring your ‘A’ game and let’s see

who can bowl a strike!

Friday 13th December Children’s Choice 

 Join us for a day of cooking,

make some delicious snacks to share and learn about fresh

food which is healthy and how to make the food tasty and

yummy to eat.

 Ready, Set, Go! 

Come for a run in our OSHC Sports Day.  

 Today we will have lots of 

different team games, relays, egg and spoon races, and even some 

Superhero Yoga! 

 

Tuesday 17th December Children’s Choice 

Excursion  

MORIALTA PLAYGROUND

 

Today we will be exploring the Morialta Nature

Conservation Park. We will enjoy exploring the different parts of the

playground and environment.

 

Wednesday 18th December 

SANTA’S WORKSHOP

 Santa and his Elves need our help! Today we will be helping 

Santa by having our own workshop.  

Each child will have the opportunity to make crafts for their families and loved ones to give during the festive season!    

Thursday 19th December 

Come and join our Christmas Feast. Today for lunch we will be serving a hot Christmas feast for all our Children. During this time the children will be enjoying 

Christmas carols whilst we give our Kris Kringle gifts.  

 

   

    

Friday 20th December

Wizard of Oz Pantomime

The Adelaide Youth Theatre and the Australian Classical Youth Ballet are teaming up to bring us an

amazing show.

  

Families please bring healthy savoury plates of food to share.

 Today we will be travelling to the 

Semaphore Waterpark. We will enjoy a day of fun in the park using the waterslides, mini 

golf and jumping castle! If your child is not a confident or capable swimmer there is still plenty of fun for them too!

and the Philippines. Come and participate in our cooking, dance, art and music 

experiences celebrating everything that defines Asia.

screen.

Tuesday 21st  January  

Incursion  

Streets Up are bringing their Stand up paddleboards 

to OSHC. It is a cross  between skateboarding and 

paddle boarding.  Student’s are instructed on how to ride a longboard by qualified instructors. Safety equipment is supplied and worn. Learn how to hold the ‘big’ stick, get on and off safely and turn and brake.  (All skating is on school grounds.)      

Wednesday 22nd January 

 Namaste!

Join us today on an Indian adventure. Today we are 

celebrating the uniqueness of India with different cooking 

experiences, artwork, mandala chalk art, and henna painting.

CELELBRATIONS     

Let us Celebrate Australia and our multicultural Country! 

There will be competitions running throughout the day and we will count down our top 50 songs of 

OSHC for 2018! We will be having an Aussie BBQ for snack prepared by the children! As 

well as mini pavlovas!
