This agreement offers Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) students Guaranteed Admission to Marquette University to complete their Bachelor's degree. Students must meet all of the requirements outlined in this agreement to guarantee their admission to Marquette University. L. Academic Requirements Students must have received a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), complete a minimum of 24 transferable credit hours in 200-level courses, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale as a full-time student on all transferrable coursework taken at MATC, with no grades earned of less than C. Students asked to leave MATC for academic or non-academic reasons will not be considered for guaranteed admission. b. Students are required to enroll in their Marquette University degree program within three years of initial enrollment in the Guaranteed Admission program with a maximum of 60 credits (or half of the Marquette degree) that will be applied to their baccalaureate degree. Program requirements are subject to change. Courses accepted for transfer credit must follow Marquette U n iversity's Tra nsfer Course/Credit Pol icy. c. lnternationalstudents must demonstrate English language proficiency as part of the final admission process. AndMarquette University

b. Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing at MATC at the time of transfer.

Students must adhere to each institution's standard policies and procedures including but not

limited to those dealing with admission, enrollment in courses, transfer credits, financial aid,

student conduct and discipline, academic probation, dismissal and reentry.

c. During enrollment in the Guaranteed Admission Program, Marquette University will provide

advisement to students to discuss academic program requirements and transfer credit policies

when initiated by the student. lt is recommended that students track their degree progress by

working with their transfer advisor at MATC and Marquette University. Students can refer to theMarquette University - MATC transfer planning guides for current requirements.

d. This agreement applies to Marquette University programs listed in Appendix A. Note, not all

undergraduate programs are available through this agreement as some programs do not offer atransfer entry option or may not have spaces to offer in a given semester. Students interested in

a Marquette University program not listed in Appendix A should follow general transferadmission instructions and need not submit the Guaranteed Admission Agreement documents.

e. The degree programs in the College of Business Administration, Opus College of Engineering,

and College of Health Sciences have a higher cumulative GPA requirement of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Additionally, students must adhere to the listed requirements below for admission to therespective u ndergraduate degree progra m:

i. College of Business Administration - The three courses below must be completed and

with a grade of B or better.o MATH 1450: Calculus 1; MATH 231at MATC

¡ ECON LL03: Principles of Microeconomics; ECON 201 at MATC

o ECON L104: Principles of Macroeconomics; ECON 202 at MATC

i¡. Opus College of Engineering - The following three courses are required for the degree:

a. MATH 1450: Calculus 1; MATH 23Iat MATC

b. CHEM 1001: GeneralChemistry L; NATSCI 2L1-at MATC

c. PHYS 1003: General Physics with lntroductory Calculus 1; NATSCI 274 atMATC

o For guaranteed admission under this agreement, MATH 231 must be completed

and with a grade of B or better. A grade of B or better in NATSCI 2L7 and/or

NATSCI 274 (student can take both NATSCI 211 and NATSCI 274 at MATC, orjustNATSCI 211 or just NATSCI 274l.The remaining course would be completed atMU.

¡i¡. College of Health Sciences - The following three courses must be completed and with agrade of B or better.

o BIOL 1002: General Biology 2; NATSCI 236 at MATC
