Unnecessary wading can kill water plants and water beds for trout. The fishing net with a longer grip is very useful here. Also, it is highly recommended to use “barbless hook.” Please be sure to take back empty cans/bottles, trash, or any kind of used fishing material without leaving them at the site. It would be highly appreci- ated if you could also bring back any kind of trash and wastes found at the bank side. Oshino is the Mecca to Japan's fly-fishing Oshino, headwater of Katsuragawa, is a spring creek that is originated from the natural spring of the beautiful Mt. Fuji, thus the water temperature of the creek, through out the year, is highly suited for the activity of the trout.
