3rd edition

Dear Parishioners,

“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10

Through the grace of God and the hard work of our parishioners, we have been blessed with many wonderful achievements and can reflect fondly on the past year, 2011. Please know that your gifts of time, talent and treasure are deeply valued and appreciated, as they are a beautiful acknowledgement of the many blessings God has bestowed upon each one of us. May this guide serve as a reminder of the fruit of parishioners' service in the past year and inspire us all to seek to return His gifts with increase. As a parish family, may we strive to continue the celebrating, caring and teaching ministry of Jesus Christ!

Mary our Mother and St. Patrick our Patron, pray for us!

Parish Nurses 2011 Achievements: During 2011, parish nurses placed an article in the Limerick each month to address health-related subjects to inform and teach St. Patrick parishioners. Eight AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator) were purchased for use in the churches, schools and busses at St. Patrick and St. Joan of Arc. At. St. Patrick, one was placed at the north entrance to the church, one in the school hallway by the gym, one in the adoration chapel and one in the school office to be used on busses during school functions. Each AED is located in an alarmed cabinet. The AEDs to be used on busses are in a case containing all necessary equipment for an emergency. Fifty St. Patrick parishioners were trained to use the AEDs with ten more being trained at their work places. These certifications are good for two years. The AEDs are checked each month by the parish nurses to determine that they are ready for an emergency. This is documented on a log that is with each AED. First aid supplies and a portable container were purchased for use at the Family Life Conference. Nurses from each parish contact nurse parishioners to schedule continuous coverage of the first aid station. This year the conference went well with no major medical problems. The 2011 All Souls’ Day Memorial Mass was well attended. There were 39 candles representing parishioners or family members who have passed away since November, 2010. A reception in the parish hall after the Mass was well attended also.

Zero Debt

Performance Overview: 2011 Calendar Year

A. The 2011 Results enabled continued project activity and accruals for future needs (Roofing, Stewardship)

1. For 2011: $229,599 of positive cash flow available; used to continue area property purchases, installation of playground at School site,

commencement of enlarging "parking lot", and accrual for future (likely) roofing needs for Administration building

B. $136,568 of postive "Net Operations" income

1. Parish Staff and Parish Councils continue to manage and control all operating costs

C. $93,091 of FH Rebates, Gift of St. Patrick, and Other Special Donations received in 2011 to help finance Parish's Master Plan

Net Available Cash (Net Cash after Fund Reserves and Vendor

Obligations) Outstanding Debt

Financial Position of Parish: Strong Cash Balances and No Debt A. Net Available Cash remains strong at $940,255 (available cash after project activity in 2011 and accruals for roofing and Stewardship)

1. Net Available Cash represents total cash LESS amounts due vendors and LESS fund reserves amounts 2. Parish has no outstanding debt

Future Direction A. Parish will continue to pursue implementation of "Master Plan" B. Balance of "Master Plan" implementation will only move forward to the extent that the Parish-wide community supports

1. Implementation timing will depend on maintaining strong regular weekly collections and continued operating

cost controls 2. Implementation timing will also depend on success of 2010-2012 and ensuing 2012-14 Fruitful Harvest Campaigns

Lorica of Saint Patrick

(ca.377)

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,

Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,

Christ on my right, Christ on my left,

Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,

Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,

Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of

me,

Christ in the eye that sees me,

Christ in the ear that hears me.

I arise today

Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the

Trinity,

Through a belief in the Threeness,

Through a confession of the Oneness

Of the Creator of creation.

In Conclusion… The successes and achievements of our many ministries are only made possible by the love we have for each other and the love we have for our Creator. Thank you to everyone who helps to make St. Patrick Parish a wonderful spiritual home to many parishioners. Our deepest and most sincere apologies to anyone left out of this publication. May God bless our parish, our families and our community.
