Marc Hartstein, came to HPA with 26 years of CMSMedicare experience. His areas of focus have includedMedicare payments for inpatient hospital services,outpatient hospital services, physician services, Part Bdrugs,andclinicallaboratoryfeeservicesamongothers.Marc has been central to the development of suchissues as the Medicare Severity DRGs, the 2 midnightrule, off-campus hospital outpatient departmentpayments, and regulations to implement Medicare’snew clinical laboratory fee schedule.
